Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I have contacted [redacted] via text message and sent pictures to verify the problems and concerns I have with the quality of workI have weeds all over the new driveway around the edges, cracks (breakage) in the driveway, pits ( baseball size about 1" deep) and tire marks and tread marks from vehicles parking on itThis is not a matter of " buyers remorse" it's a matter of accountability and contract agreementI would like a product that will last and done to a higher standardThe driveway is failing and needs to be done correctly or it will cost more to fix it in the futureI have no problem trying to resolve this matter in an amicable way, but that can't be a "one-way street" Regards, Brian [redacted]

Company states they did go back out and repair and the customer said "it looked like road construction."

Regards,
Debra *** I left messages at the business number. I offered to pay for the gas spill but you did not bill me. I have more volcanoes at this point than can be counted and all are breaking open, including ones that were "repaired." Each time it rains more water gets into the asphalt resulting in more breakage, which is specifically covered in your warranty. Additionally, the edges of the driveway are cracking which is another warranty covered problem. I am requesting resolution to this immediately before the entire driveway is unusable. Regarding the seal coating, after the driveway was installed you specifically said not to coat it for one year yet you changed your guidelines and did it, again specifically violating the contract and warranty

I believe there was a misunderstandingWhen I said my driveway looked like a road construction, was because it looks horribleThere are bumps, patches, dents, and the whole thing in general is very unevenWhen they first did the job, they were supposed to put inches of asphaltWhich they didn't, it was barely an inch, that's why it started to crack right awayWhen they came to "fix it" they made it worseOne half of the driveway it inches above the other, when they meet there is a huge bump all acrossI thought I had hired a responsible company, but apparently I hired beginners that barely know what they're doing

No messages were left this year, prove it with phone records!I do not like lies when they reflect upon me that I was ignoring your issues! The sealcoating was added to help with the problemSomehow your assuming that this voids your warranty, Why you would assume that I have no idea.I will continue to work on the problem as I said I would, but I will need you to tell the truth on the issue of the supposed phone calls this year

Company states they did go back out and repair and the customer said "it looked like road construction.".

Sorry it took so long to reply, Been thinking of the correct words to say ,without throwing this customer under the bus , as he did me.The customer stated that he contacted me numerous times to come out and look at the driveway which I did. I even repaired the driveway repairing the cracks. customer...

failed to mention that I have paved everyone of his neighbors over the past 3 years . Which since that time we have been in intense negotiations to meet his price and demands. Ultimately we came to an agreement, which we completed this spring.Did this customer have a legitimate complaint ?Yes he did ,as I went back to correct any issues concerning the customer. I have recently went to look at the job ,in my professional opinion the job is adequate for the price he paid.Bottom line this customer had buyers remorse before he even got the job done. If any future issue arrive I will address the issues  with his wife ,I will not with him!!!!!!     Ronny [redacted].

Customer has not called this year. For them to say that they have contacted me this year with no reply from me is a absolute lie!As a matter of fact,I challenge this customer too produce phone records claiming that they tried calling me.Job was paved in early spring of last year, and approximately a...

month later we were called by customer complaining of asphalt pushing up on edges.very rudely I must add!Customer was told it would take Several treatments to correct this problem. Which is why I agreed to extend there warranty to 3 years, even though it was brought to there attention stating on there contract that we do not guarantee vegetation growth. We were out there several times last year and dramatically reduced the growth on the edges. We offered to apply a seal coating last fall that was refused by customers. Please note 98 pct of driveway is in very good shape. The problem is on the edges.Even though I do not care for the way these customers interact with me I will gladly continue treatment for this very minor problem.

Customer has not called this year.A simple phone call would get me out there to you .I expected this from your friends down the road, but not from u.Layed asphalt early last spring, got a friendly call approximately a month later complaining of asphalt popping up,in which it was.Told customer it would...

take several treatments to combat problem .Contract clearly states that we are not responsible for vegetation growth under asphalt.I agreed to extend there warranty from 1 year to 3 years, knowing it would take some time to kill this weed problem!Made several trips out there last year with infrared heating and re rolling, even fixed a large oil leak issue from customers car leaking on the fresh asphalt. At end of year customer let me apply a sealcoat to help with problem,of course no charge to them.I just want to clarify that there has been no contact whatsoever in the 2017 year!To say that I have never replied is an absolute lie!

The response is a continued "band aid" for a deeper problem.  I believe they will do this until the warranty expires and I will be left with a mess.  It has already cost value to my home and I was better off leaving my driveway as screened limestone.
