I was visiting my daughter at WVU her car was giving her problems,It broke down on me , I called summers they came and towed itthe employee was very cordial and informed me that they worked on vehicles also..Mike called me to let me know they had fixed it temporallyand the fix was something out of there wheelhouseMy daughter drove it home where my place fixed itI would give this company a A + rating ....,good guy's in my book*** *** *** ***
My car was towed by this company on Friday November, When I called to pick up my car, I was never informed that there would be an additional $fee for picking up my car after hours When I made it there and found out this additional charge, I offered to come pick the car up on Monday during regular hours The driver informed me that the fee wouldn't come off the bill regardless even if I came back monday to pick up the car I agreed to pay and produced my debit card which he promptly refused stating the business only accepts cash; yet another contingency I wasn't told of when I called to pick up the car I came back saturday morning to pick up my car with cash in hand When I asked the price, the man at the desk told me the bill was $ I started to pay the bill in part cash and part change, and he informed me that the bill "just now went upif I have to count that, the price just went up $45" I paid the now additionally inflated bill of and left with my c
I came there to find my car because it had been towed from a visitors parking lot when I visited my sister in MorgantownThere was no note telling me where it was, and the office of the complex was closed that daySo I had to basically hunt for itWe came to Summers towing because I've been towed there beforeWe thought that we saw it, because there was a car that matched my exact make, model, and color in their lot so my boyfriend called to ask someone to come down and let us inHe was obviously upset because of the situation but I never heard him use fowl language or get aggressive while talkingLater the man showed up in a bad mood, and when my boyfriend calmly informed him that the car was not mine because of the wrong plate, the man became extremely rudeI didn't know that they were even arguing on the phone because my boyfriend had remained so calm, so when the man showed up and was immediately unpleasant I was shockedMy boyfriend obviously responded with a matching tone and the man told him F* youMy boyfriend responded calling him an F*ing pr**kTHEN the man swings his door open, walks aggressively at my boyfriend and gets in his faceHe tells him that he didn't care if the car was in there or not, to get off the F*ing propertyIt was horrific customer service, regardless if my car was in there or notIt actually scared the heck out of me because the man is much bigger than my boyfriend, so I told him to get in the car and we leftIf my car was in there, for sure, I'd have called the cops, but fortunately we didn't have to waste any more time with the businessNot, until my boyfriend called to leave a complaint with the owner and he was attacked once AGAIN, called a lier, and more fowl language was usedMy boyfriend is a marine veteran and I find it horrible that we could not find a way to resolve this other than leaving a bad ratingHere's a tip, when you get your car towed, don't show up there, and talk to Michael, acting like you're having a bad day because it will likely get worseIf only there were a zero stars option
Parked at *** *** guest lot on 9/9/Went to my car at 11:a.mand it was jacked upSaid their reason for towing was there was no parking after p.mon a gamedayWasn't after and wasn't a gameday (day before gameday)They said it would be $drop fee, cash onlyI don't typically carry cash on me, however I had checks and a card that they refused to takeI was literally in tearsAsked them to wait to see if any of my friends could help me out, they said nope hopped in the truck and took off, as if they were trying to get away as quickly as possibleHad to have a friend take me to their shop and had to pay the full amount to get my car backOn the invoice it literally says "reason for tow: no parking after on a gameday" yet the completed time was 11:50, and the date was not a gamedayHad to comply with them simply to get my car backBut the way they treated me and the entire situation was absolutely disgusting
