Twenty-one months ago I contacted Christian Care Ministry to purchase medical coverage in case of an accident/illness, etcI made my need and desires very clear at that time to someone named "***." Now all these months later when I have experienced a significant incurred debt from an emergency appendectory in December 2014, I cannot get them to talk with me or return my calls or emails, or assist me in any wayThey claim I purchased "lost income" coverage which is ridiculous since I am a college student with a part-time landscaping businessI needed, and wanted, medical coverage for "catastrophic incidents." Since I cannot talk to "***" since he is no longer in their company directory, and since the woman I did talk to hung up during our phone callit may have been inadvertentbut she has not called back in over an hourThe promised return calls of yesterday never came, although I waited all dayI am finding no useful help from them and am beginning to wonder if this whole thing is just a "scam."
My wife is expecting a childHer doctor gave her a prescription for a breast pumpOther Insurance companies have provided pumps for her friends and family Medishare said " They do not cover breast pumps because they are not an insurance companyAnd pumps are not eligible for sharing."
We Pay Medishare to provide coverage for my familyThey find every loophole they can
I have an ER visit for my daughter who received stitchesMedishare did not like the coding so this bill has been drawn out for months shy of years nowI have endured this for almost years nowSo even if the hospital miraculously changes the coding Medishare won't pay the 10% that they informed me they would on the phone that they conveniently cannot find in the recorded messages I have called a lot about and the lady only reviewed of the callsOn top of that, they say they spoke with the Dr's to get the coding correctly yet there are zero names for point of contactThe hospital says they did not call and show no records of calls so now I believe the hospital over the "Christians." I am absolutely NOT happy that this company can't pay the whopping $bucks left because I have paid everythingI have talked to both sized I have been the ONLY ONE on top of thisI thought this coverage was specifically for EMERGENCIESI do not feel taken care of, I do not feel that these people know what they are doing because every time I called in I had a different story and an, oh don't worry about it attitudeThanks, that landed me in collections because of Medishare! I left Medishare needless to sayThe hospital was more helpful and empathetic
