Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Photographer contracted to spend hours and take pictures of the event on the evening in question Holp enjoyed my wine a lot according to more than one guest The first half of the party he took most of the pictures of the carterer's people, the band members, horses and scenery, mostly flowers The second half of the party he didn't take many pictures at all that he will give to me He has given me a few pictures of me giving a speech and one picture of me dancing with my daughter and a few random pictures from the second half of the party He was at the party for hours and until the end of the party when everyone was catching busses back to the parking lots I know for sure that he either hasn't given me all the pictures, which I strongly believe, or he was totally unprofessional and enjoyed the party instead of working on taking pictures of the guests There were over guests and I maybe have pictures of guests Very few the last half of the party I asked him why there wasn't any pictures of all the guests dining or later dancing and he said if I had wanted those pictures my event planner or myself should have told him Very unprofessional and I truly believe that he is not giving me all the pictures that I have paid for because I accused him of drinking to much of my wine that evening I didn't see him in a impaired state but was told by more than one guest that they were worried about him I asked him for a refund of half the money that I paid him, $750, and he said absolutely not The money isn't the big deal The big deal is hiring what you were told was a professional photographer and then not getting all the photos that you thought you would get of old friends that you may never see again Very disappointed and angry Regards, [redacted]

I have just read the email with [redacted] holp's responseI see that there was a "six calendar day" response timeI missed it because I have been distracted by the flooding that we experienced on May in bandera county which was severe such that we lost most of our belongings and have no where to live at this timeSo I am requesting that this case be re-opened because his response in no way was compatible with the situation and he in no way performed to any even sub-standard level of performanceHe says he gave us all of the pictures he took which were either not good shots or were of almost anything but the actual partyHis lighting was terrible as wellHe was there and was paid for hours of his time and to only have less than photos of the quality and composition just described is not what can be in any way be described as adequate performance coupled with the unprofessional way he acted in sitting down to dinner with the guests and getting drunk All of which we have witnesses to attest toWe also are aware of a conversation he had with my husband where he all but admitted he had no idea "where all of the pictures were" and "gee, what a great party it was and how much fun he had." Further he had stated that if my client had wanted certain kinds of pictures, he (***) should have been told what was wanted and I provided proof in am email that was sent to [redacted] prior to the event with that information [redacted] has so far not addressed this factHe said he was not going to have his business ruined by this one "belligerent man" is short-sighted on his part because it is not the so-called "belligerent man" who has filed this complaint but a professional third part event planner who knows the difference between how a professional company of any kind would have handled this situation and [redacted] holp has shown how completely unprofessional he is on every levelFurther who could blame the client for his feelings when this person failed on every level to provide what was expected and paid forThis situation should serve as a warning to anyone who would consider doing business with [redacted] holp to think twice and to ultimately go elsewhere if a professional job and positive experience was desired Regards, [redacted]

Holp enjoyed my wine a lot according to more than one guest.  The first half of the party he took most of the pictures of the carterer's people, the band members, horses and scenery, mostly flowers.  The second half of the party he didn't take many pictures at all that he will give to me.  He has given me a few pictures of me giving a speech and one picture of me dancing with my daughter and a few random pictures from the second half of the party.  He was at the party for 5 hours and until the end of the party when everyone was catching busses back to the parking lots.  I know for sure that he either hasn't given me all the pictures, which I strongly believe, or he was totally unprofessional and enjoyed the party instead of working on taking pictures of the guests.  There were over 100 guests and I maybe have pictures of 20 guests.  Very few the last half of the party.  I asked him why there wasn't any pictures of all the guests dining or later dancing and he said if I had wanted those pictures my event planner or myself should have told him.  Very unprofessional and I truly believe that he is not giving me all the pictures that I have paid for because I accused him of drinking to much of my wine that evening.  I didn't see him in a impaired state but was told by more than one guest that they were worried about him.  I asked him for a refund of half the money that I paid him, $750, and he said absolutely not.  The money isn't the big deal.  The big deal is hiring what you were told was a professional photographer and then not getting all the photos that you thought you would get of old friends that you may never see again.  Very disappointed and angry.
