Holsinger Surveying

Review: My sister who is the (executor of my mother's estate contracted Mr. [redacted] to survey the property so it could be divided. When this was completed, my sister and I agreed on the division of the property in February 2013. At that time my sister contacted Mr. [redacted] to survey a line and complete the plat so the deeds could be recorded. It has been over two years and the work has not been completed. Furthermore the original work (which he has been paid for) has not been recorded. Over the past two years we have contacted him dozens of times but he says he'll get to it soon but does not. We cannot procede with settling the estate until he finishes his work. He has told my sister and myself that is a few days work so it's not like this is a huge job so it shouldn't take two years to complete. My sister is tired of the delays but is not willing yet to file any kind of complaint. I spoke to Mr. [redacted] today (4/4/15) and asked him again when will he finish and all he will say is soon. I asked him if he was doing work for other people but he refused to answer so I'm sure he is. I've been hearing that for a year and a half.Desired Settlement: I want the surveyor to finish the work for us.
