I called and arranged an appointment for a tub and surround replacementAfter providing a 50% deposit, the contractor and I scheduled an appointment for the work to be performedOn the day before she was to begin, I still hadn't received a contract or work order from her, and she didn't call me with a time that she would arrive the next dayI called her the evening before, and she said she'd email the work order, but was running behind on another job She wouldn't be performing the work the next dayWe rescheduled for that Saturday, arriving between and a.m(which she said she would do as a favor to me since she was pushing out the schedule)Saturday came and I still hadn't received a work order/contractHer guy, ***, no last name or business card, showed up hours late without any call or explanationHis partner/supervisor, ("***") dropped him off at our house and left to "go to the bank." He never came backAn hour into removing all the bath fixtures, [redacted] stopped and said he couldn't complete the job because ***'s truck broke down (again)He didn't feel comfortable with his skill level to remove the tub surround from the wall without damaging our drywall/sheet rock [redacted] was supposed to do that part of it [redacted] apologized, put the fixtures back in place, and took off walking down the road since his ride wasn't coming backWhile the fixtures are back on, all of the sealant has been ripped out so we now have a tub/shower with ducktaped fixturesNever using this contractor againShe did refund the 50% depositWe had a week of our renovation wasted, when we could have been looking for another contractor
