Shiner Roofing repaired a leak at residence on 11/25/15 by replacing flashing at location A along the entire length of trim board B. Leak was manifesting itself near where the circle at C and A join.
Customer subsequently had another carpenter replace trim board B whom also did not indicate that...

the this would not fix the leak. Because of where the leak was showing and the fact that the flashing and trim needed to be replaced, this was the best diagnosis for the leak.
With the intersection of a newly built addition that was connected to the house and lower roof improperly, there are eight places that could be leaking. We subsequently gave them a price of $585 to repair two additional areas that was discounted close to our cost.
The estimate is attached and was for more than just caulking.
We made our best diagnosis because the leak was manifesting itself in an area closer to where the original repair.
No call was placed to our office to try and negotiate a lower price for the repair or voice any discontent.
We do not feel that any discount is warranted because 1., the first work was necessary and was in the area where the leak was showing up, 2. There are multiple problems with the roof, 3. There are many areas where the siding and trim needed to be sealed and 4. The customer did not contact us to resolve any discontent before having others do work.
