Review: I purchased pre-need a footstone and cemetery charges in 2008 from the company, and have moved to Maryland,. and will not be interred in the New York area. When I contacted Holtz Schore to request refund of the prepaynebt amouint ($1168.00) I was "offered" $500. No work has been undertaken, no preparation has been done. A refund of less than half of the amount (that is suposedly in escrow) has been offered to me. This is unacceptable, since there has been no cost generated for this contracd.Desired Settlement: I would like Holtz Schore to refund the amount that I paid for services that will not be used.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Holtz-Schore Memorials regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Holtz-Schore Memorials sent to me a $500 check, as they maintained was all I was entitled to receive. I returned the check to then with a note that this was an unacceptable resolution. I am waiting for their response.
