Please be advised that this has been resolved since February 9. A representative from Holy Name Medical Center had contacted the customer to confirm resolution.

Review: I had received medical services from Holy Name Medical Center on 7/3/15 and 7/5/15 for a strep throat infection. I presented two separate insurances at the time of being admitted into the emergency room. A few months later I had gotten a bill from Akron billing which I believe is in house billing service. I had submitted my insurance again to the billing service to resolve the issue, my copay for emergency services through my insurance is $50. I did this two separate times. 6 months after the services I got sent to a collection service called HRRG. In an attempt to keep my credit score intact I paid the predatory debt collectors the amount of $1,688. I now have to backtrack to get my money from debt collections and connect holy name with my insurance company for the negligence of holy names billing department.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the amount returned to me of $1,688 and all money owed for services to be released and no longer owed.

Review: I monthly receive a bill for medical services relating to an er visit from 9/21/13/ The billing company mails one invoice a month a year and a half later stating a balance is due for $41.98I call the hospital and they state all bills are paid, denies this bill and states it is from the physician, DR. [redacted]. Dr. [redacted] states he works for the hospital and receives a pay check from them, therefore cannot bill independently.There is no record of a [redacted] with any other employment anywhere in the state of NJ other than at Holy Name Hospital.The billing company, [redacted] states the bill is from holy name hospital and their voicemail confirms this, stating "Holy Name" in the message.This is an illegal practice. The deductible/copay was paid at the time of visit as well as another 2900 for services and 300 for consult. Now I receive a 41 dollar bill for reading an x-ray.Isn't that what they do IN THE HOSPITAL for 3200 dollars? Or is that just the room fee.I should have stayed at the Waldorf!Desired Settlement: DELETE THIS BILL
