Holy Roller Painting

August 2017, I hired Jim C*** dba Holy Roller Painting to paint an existing pergola and build a new deck over a concrete patio His profile on *** *** looked great and I felt comfortable after speaking with Jim C*** that his company could complete my project Starting the project, Jim C*** spoke with the City of ***, and it was determined that a wooden deck could not be built and it was agreed that the existing concrete patio pavers would be removed, cleaned, set back in place and painted Jim C***'s employee, *** ***, was sent out to remove the concrete pavers, clean them and set them back in place Jim C*** state to me that he offered a year warranty on his work After the patio pavers were set back in place, the pavers were given coats of paint and within hours, the paint began to bubble The pavers affected were sanded and repainted In February of 2018, more paint bubbles appeared and the paint was flaking off On March 10, 2018, I contacted Jim

Hired Holy Roller to paint our deck and repair some rotted out exterior trimWe told the owner we needed a high quality heavy duty enamel that would hold up to heavy use When the painting was finished we found out they'd used a pigmented stain instead We had adhesion issues almost immediately We were told they'd come in, scrape the deck down and repaint with enamel Never happened They dragged it out, we had to wait and wait and when they did come in all they did was go over it with same stain product We were offered a refund which we accepted and after waiting weeks for follow up - Holy Roller is going to give us $ That won't even buy the paint let alone pay another contractor to come in and do the job correctlyWe have also found the trim repair we had them do was mainly just cover up Instead of replacing rotted wood they covered it up with bondo and painted over it The paint covered it up nicely but it's starting to come apart as the rotted wood was not repaired/replaced One star rating

We used Sherwin Williams Promar eggshell which was approved by *** prior to painting I spent an entire week finding the right trim for him and made trips to his house to show him each style (I did not charge him for this) *** didn't pay me for the trim that we installed
throughout his house (he still owes me $1200) My pieces of leftover base trim ($each) conveniently disappeared from his garage immediately after we finished the projectI came the following day to get my payment and my woodI got neitherWe PERFECTLY caulked each window ***'s daughter and friends left Cigarette butts in the yard, NOT my guysWe had drop clothes and plastic completely covering his houseNO paint on his carpet We were not allowed to install the security cameras because his probation officer told us that he was not permitted to have them ***'s accusations are completely fraudulent and unsubstantiated
