I moved both my auto (cars) and homeowner's insurance policy to Allstate a couple of years ago I never had a claim until currently when a tree fell on one of our parked cars so obviously not our faultI learned that there was no rental car coverage in my policy when it should have been included I've never had a policy where it wasn't included It took them awhile to come out to the body shop for their review/estimate and then they apparently ordered the wrong parts so it took even longer All told, it took about weeks from the time of the accident until we got the car back and we had to pay for the rental because they neglected to include it in the policy which was their fault They refused to pay for the rental so I am moving both my auto and homeowner's elsewhere This was the first claim with them and it was a bad experience I've driven for 30+ years and have dealt with claims with other insurers without these issues so will not tolerate bad service from them!
