Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]      Holzapple Plumbing is not telling the truth about what happened.I agreed to pay them $665 to install a gas valve to fix the problem. That was to be the total cost. There was never any discussion that I may have low water pressure or no water from their work, only discoloration for a short while. In fact, when I called the company and told them I had no water, they acted surprised and couldn’t understand what the problem was. They had [redacted] call me and he was upset and said he would come right back after the job he went to after mine. However, the [redacted], all of a sudden, decided that [redacted] should charge me to come back. I should never have let him leave until we were sure the problem was resolved but he told me it would take a while for the water to heat up (approximately an hour) and I shouldn’t use the water until then. They had no right to once again charge me for their failure to do the job correctly the first time. Additionally, it is not true that they told me if I paid their new bill for $160 they would work with me. After repeated calls to Holzapple, I was never told that. Both [redacted] and [redacted] in the office kept claiming they hadn’t heard from the [redacted] in days. They kept telling me don’t worry he will get back to you as soon as we find him. Neither the [redacted], nor anyone else from that company, ever got back to me. They handled the job in an extremely unprofessional manner and I hired someone else to fix the problem.

Review: I contacted Holzapple Plumbing on February [redacted] because I did not have hot water in my home. They told me there was a $90 service charge which they would apply to any work that needed to be done. The service man, [redacted], came to my house spend an hour figuring out the problem, replaced the thermocouple, which didn't fix the problem, and told me I needed a new gas valve. He then charged me $216 and said the office would call with a quote for the new valve. I called the office later that day and was told the valve would be 665 installed. When I asked about applying the $216 they charged me already, they said that was not possible. At this point, I still trusted them and agreed to order the part which would take 3 business days to arrive they said. on February [redacted] returned and told me he needed to drain my 75 gallon water tank which is located in my garage, before he could put on the new valve. Approximately 1 and 1/2 hours later, [redacted] was finished and informed me that I couldn't use the water for one hour and he said there may be a slight discoloration. I paid Holzapple $722 including tax using my Citiadvantage card. Two hours later (around 4 pm),I discovered there was no water in my bathroom or kitchen. Holzapple claimed it was unrelated. [redacted] came back the next day and tried to charge me another $175 saying he had fixed it which I refused to pay. Ten minutes later, there was No water again and Holzapple will not come back and refuses to address the problem. I hired another plumber who had to fix it.Desired Settlement: I have paid Holzapple over $900, have since had to have someone else in to repair the problem and I still am having issues with my water pressure, which I never had before Holzapple came. They are totally unprofessional. I am willing to pay them the $216 but I have contacted [redacted] and I am disputing the $722 charge. I am willing to pay for the price of the gas valve in addition to the $216 if presented with a bill from the supplier of the valve but I am not willing to pay for [redacted]'s services.
