Our major brand dishwasher completely stopped working 28 days after warranty. They told us to access service via Home Appliance Care as they specialize in fixing their equipment.
After the first visit May 23rd, the charge was approximately 250$ . Three days later the appliance stopped working again. He returned. No charge for his service, but parts totaling approximately 150$. within 24 hrs the appliance had stopped working again. IN frustration I called the dishwasher company directly. No reply, so I posted on Social Media.
This worked! They told me they had not heard from Home Appliance Care and were waiting on documents. Home appliance care said they had not been in contact with anyone form the company.. After 3 months of back and forth with Home Appliance Care and manufacturer ( who do not seem to communicate with each other....) I am still out the amount paid to Home Appliance Care ( approximately 325$ which they said they would refund, but they have not. The manufacturer sent us another dishwasher , Charging another 366$ .
Home appliance care has stopped answering my email. They left a message in August saying they'd get my 325$ in part/labour refunded., but they have failed to follow thru. They have not handled our case well, and I feel that they have taken advantage of us charging for parts and labour that resulted in no solution. ALSO - our old dishwasher was retrieved by the company, so brand new parts we paid for were still on that machine! Feels like we have been ***!

We broke our stand alone glass stove top and they came to replace the glass stove top... the installer did not want to move the stove back into place and told us that if we broke it he could come back... to me, the service should include sliding the stove back in its rightful place since it was pulled out-it sounds like they're happy if we break it again since they would make more money... these stoves are tricky and I would expect professionals to slide it back into its rightful place....They asked us to pay even though we asked for help and the installer ran out the door right after. We paid unfortunately, although to me, this job was not completed. I would certainly not recommend this service for this type of appliance. I NEEDED HELP TO SLIDE IT IN to avoid this happening again-not just replacing the glass. Would this business want to ensure their customers don't have to call again? or the more they call the better?

As you know you are in the midst of a renovation and the unit was already pulled out when the technician got there. After replacing the glass on your stove the technician did offer to help you push the stove in place. However upon inspecting the granite he found that it did not seem to be a smooth fit to the granite so it was deemed unsafe to do so in fear of breaking your newly replaced glass. Of course most repairs consists of units that are already installed so putting them back into their original place is normal procedure, unfortunately your situation was not so. Hope this explanation helps.

Whether a customer is in a reno or not, the help and service should be the same. Also, just so you know, the kitchen was completed and the stove was the last item to fit into place. We had pulled the stove out to help you guys and save time-THE STOVE NEEDED TO BE PULLED OUT EITHER WAY. The guy offered help and when it actually came time to help us, AND WORK WITH US and provide a recommendation, he took his payment and left. he did not try ad you guy is obviously defending his actions. I would expect for your guy to find a solution with us, right? Not just leave us to figure it out. Your guy did not want to take ACCOUNTABILITY should the stove have broken again (and why even think this???)-not to mention his comment on calling him again for a repair. As I mentioned, the job was not completed- a perfect example would be to arrive at a customer's home, pull the fridge out to fix the water line, and leaving the fridge there, out of its spot. Would you leave a service that way?

I am sorry that you feel this way. Again, if we would have pulled out the stove we would certainly have pushed it back into place, however since the granite seemed to pose a potential problem the technician did not want to take any chances. Could he have made more of an effort? Perhaps. We thank you for your comments as we can only excel if we are made aware of our weaknesses and strengths.

I'm trying very hard to get a hold of someone with this company because they are the only one's in Ottawa who service my oven brand. I cannot get a hold of anyone. It's always busy. I feel this business is no longer open.

We are definitely open.

Yesterday with the ice storm we were still open but running on a generator for power and then in the afternoon all the neighborhood lost phones and internet. It came back up only at 7 pm.

This was unfortunate however out of our control.

This company's ***, ***, was excellent. He completely and painstakingly went through a process of elimination to find the root cause of the malfunction of our three-year-old *** dishwasher, This involved removing the unit from beneath the counter and going through the steps one by one, always explaining why. He finally concluded that it must be the electronics that were at fault, but just to be certain, he tried the machine once more, and it worked! It appears that it was undoubtedly a frozen intake pipe, something I can remedy my self. Had he not been so thorough, though, it could have incurred a costly and unnecessary repair. I would highly recommend this company, and this *** in particular. His manner was exemplary.

Home Appliance Care was called to check a possible problem with the freezer drawer of our new fridge. ***, the ***, addressed the issue with a detailed explanation. *** then went beyond the call of duty by providing a couple of useful tips in the care and maintenance of the fridge. He was also meticulous in taking off the plastic wrapping off the fridge doors. In the end I learned more about my new fridge from *** than from the fridge manual and the salesperson.

A few times we had to call for our appliances and every time our experiences with the company & team were very helpful & went beyond there services.
