GE was contacted the morning of 10/and they discovered that the wrong part had been shipped in the right part number box to us They were overnighting the correct part to the customer Our service manager went out on 10/to install the correct parts and left his cell phone to call him if there were any further issues Mrs [redacted] texted him a picture of water on the floor on the morning of 10/ At that point, we put an order in for a new dishwasher which arrived on 10/and was installed on 10/ Customer appears to be satisfied with the resolution

Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2015/06/25) */ They belatedly sent me a statement saying I had a credit on their books for the amount in questionIt took four phone calls and three weeks but I finally got something in the mail' So I am satisfied

We received the first service call on this refrigerator on July 19, The reported problem was “freezer side is leaking water and it is freezing on the bottom and leaking out of the door”The call was scheduled for July We dispatched a tech and he cleared a blocked defrost drainWe
repeated the same process on SeptOn Sept 25, we received a call the unit is constantly running & icemaker is acting funny & there are cooling issuesOur service manager went out on Sept 27, cleaned the defrost drain again and aligned drain holesOn Oct 10, we received a call that the unit was having temperature issuesTech was dispatched on Oct 12, part was ordered and cust was called on 10/to reschedule call to install partWe did not receive a return phone callOn Oct 16, customer called back and unit is still fluctuating in temperatureOur service manager went out on Oct The unit was unplugged but he put the unit in service mode to test sensor, damper and freezer fanAll components tested okOn Oct 30, customer called and unit was still having temperature issuesService manager was contacted and we ordered a main PCB and scheduled to go out on November 8thDuring this period, several messages were left back and forth with MrJacin to give him the cost for the PCBMrJacin was also contacted on Monday, Nov 6th to advise that we had a cancellation and wanted to move him to Nov 7thWe did not receive a return phone call until TuesdayOur service manager went out on Nov 8th and found the unit unplugged againHe ran diagnostics, called the tech line and adjusted the drain tubeSince that trip, he has contacted MrsJacin on an almost daily basis to see how the unit was running and no other issues have been reportedHe was planning a return visit to check the sensor readings to insure the issue has been resolvedIt is unfortunate the issue has taken so long to resolve. What started out as a leaking water issue morphed into a temperature fluctuation issue, which can be very hard to diagnoseAlso, with the unit being unplugged on two of our visits, we were unable to take proper readingsOn both of those trips, we were informed that the customer was using a refrigerator in the garageThroughout the entire process the customer was not charged anything but their initial service call and labor back in JulyWe have attempted to work through the issue with most trips being within days of the call and have been in constant contact with the customerWith regards to the food loss and floor damage, we are unable to verify either claim due to a working refrigerator in the garage and the initial call being a leaking unit (we have no idea how long it was leaking before they called us the first time)The unit is five years old and well out of its warranty period. We have covered our service call and labor under our 90-day guarantee, so the customer has incurred no other repair expenses at this time
