Review: I contacted [redacted] owner of Home Audio and Video Innovations ###-###-#### on 2/4/14 to come connect my Apple TV and Harmony remote. He made arrangements for one of his employees to come out on 2/6/14. A guy by the name of [redacted] showed up with a Home Audio & Video Innovations Van. My fiance' told him what we needed done and he proceeded to look at the equipment. About an hour an half of being here, he turned up my speakers so loud on my TV that it shook the walls. He not only did it once but twice. He then proceeded to go into the attic & fool with the speaker wires. He came back into the living room and started fooling with the receiver again....and POP then smell of burning electric wire. My receiver then started a clicking noise and it never came back on. [redacted] stood there scratching his head dumbfounded and said he had to go out to his van to call [redacted] He came back in and started immediately saying there was something wrong with our receiver. There was NOTHING wrong with the receiver until he BLEW it!!! Right in front of my fiance' and I, he stood there and was acting clueless!!! My fiance' got on the [redacted] who of course tried to get out of making the situation right by making excuses saying "it wasn't hooked up right"..."it was 7 years old"...."there was something wrong with it before"...HE WASN'T EVEN HERE!!!!...After several phone calls back & forth he told my fiance' that he would have a new one delivered to our house on Saturday. He was going to email my fiance' the specks of the one we were going to be getting. After several phone calls today he finally emailed my fiance' the specks of the receiver he was going to send us. My receiver was a Sony top of the line 7 years ago. It cost $1500.00. Still have the receipt. [redacted] was trying to pawn off a refurbished receiver that was not even close to the quality we had. My fiance' told him no deal. He then stated that he would email my fiance' a statement saying that he would pay $400.00 for the cost of a new one. That email never cameDesired Settlement: I want a new Receiver comparable to the one I have with installation costs.

Mr. Keller sent me a refurbished bottom line receiver from amazon.com. We are also left to pay for the installation of it which costs about 200.00. I was unable to view Mr. Keller's response but it doesn't matter. What he replaced my receiver with is below substandard. Not to mention the mental stress that he has caused me during my high risk pregnancy.
