I am rejecting this response because:This is the biggest pack of lies I have ever witnessedWhat this woman doesn't tell you is that the tech is her husband and trying to talk to him is like talking to a wall. They took my money and are doing their best to cheat me out of itThese are the facts:
They took on the responsibility to repair my cruise control. They bought a totally unneeded part($143.00) and installed it on my steering column and in doing so, disabled my dimmer switch, and caused a direct short in the electrical system so serious that charging the battery did no good at all. The only thing that was accomplished was the replacing of one (1) light bulb under the hood and taping the other one to get it burning and all this cost me I made several more appointments for him to come and correct what he messed up and fix my cruise controlHe never would show up for the appointments. I told them I wanted my money back because I had gotten nothing but the run around from them and nothing was repaired but he sure managed to screw up a few things. I demanded my money be returnedThat has not been done
I had a towing company come and tow my vehicle over to *** ***t to get it repaired by professionalsThey kept the car overnight and worked on it the next day. The problem with the cruise control was the vacuum hoses, and they needed to be replaced. They told me there was nothing wrong with the control unit on the steering column and shouldn't have been replacedThey also repaired the short in the electrical system that was caused by the other guys, and totally repaired the cruise controlTotal cost to correct their mistakes, and repair the cruise control was a total of I am demanding the return of my $dollars that they did not earn and are trying to cheat me out ofI will use other legal means to get my money back, including a law suit if I have to

Home Auto Service received a phone call on 1/2/from Mr*** explaining that the Cruise Control wasn't working on his
Corvette and that he needed a mobile mechanic for his convenienceMr*** and myself worked out a day and
time to have the technician come diagnose the
problem, which was scheduled for the following day on 1/3/The technician
(***) and myself showed up around 5pm to Mr.***s home and Mr.*** explained the issue that he was having with his Cruise
Control to the technicianWhile the technician was diagnosing the Cruise Control issue, he mentioned to Mr ***
that there were a few other problems with his vehicle that he noticed in the processThese were the
recommendations the technician mentioned to Mr.***The A/C System was leaking Freeon and needed a new Compressor, the
engine was misfiring and needed a tune-up, and there was an electrical short to the underhood lightsMr*** stated that
when he has a problem, he likes to get it fixed right away and requested that the technician get every issue fixed a.s.a.p
Mr.*** asked how much it would cost to get it all fixed and requested if he could have all the work done that same
dayThe technician explained to Mr.*** that he would first have to search for an A/C Compressor but in the mean time he
could start with the cruise control issue and underhood lights and go from thereMr.*** agreedThe technician clearly
explained to Mr.*** that after he replaced the new Cruise Control Switch, it could still continue to have the same issue
but the only way to know for sure was to go through a "process of elimination" and Mr *** was ok with thisAs a
professional, honest and fair Business, Home Auto Service made sure Mr.*** was in agreement before continuing and Mr.***
was ok with this because he had hoped it was the minor issue which would save him moneyThe technician explained that the
Cruise Control Switch needed to get replaced first, because of how old and wornout it wasMr *** wasnt happy with going
through the Process of Elimination but he wanted it done and therefore agreed to do whatever was needed to do, to get the
job doneAgain, the technician clearly explained that if the issue continued after replacing the Switch then it would be
an electrical issue, which at that point, would require alot more time and labor and the price would be more costlyEither
way Mr.*** agreed to getting the issue fixed wether it was the minor or major issue but to first start with the cheapest
route and see how that turned outHome Auto Service continued as requestedThat same evening after searching for the part
Mr.*** and the technician agreed to completing the job the following dayOn 1/4/the technician brought the parts needed
for the "Underhood Electrical Short" and for the the Cruise ControlThe technician removed and replaced the Cruise
Control Switch/ Lever, repaired the electrical shortage to the underhood and replaced the bulbs on each sideOnce the
technician was finished,he took the car for a test driveThe technician told Mr*** that the Cruise Control was working
fine when he tested it and to give us a call if he experienced any issuesMr.*** was contentThe total amount due for parts labor and service fee was $dollarsMr*** paid $dollars and we agreed he could pay the balance of $dollars another time which still has not been paid. The following day on 1/4/Home Auto Service recieved a call from Mr.*** explaining that his Cruise Control was still not
working and that our company ripped him off and scammed him for his moneyI personally was upset hearing this because we
do our very best at keeping our customers happyWe believe in lasting impressions and doing business with complete honesty
I scheduled an appointment for the technician to go out to Mr.***s home to check out the problemWhen the technician
arrived he diagnosed the issue and exlpained to Mr.*** that it was the electrical issue, which was what the technician had
told him it would be, if the cruise control lever didn't solve the problemThe technician explained that he would need to
return to the shop to pull up an electrical diagram which would take hours to doMr *** wasnt happy with the news but this
was already explained to himIt was either the Cruise Control Lever or the Electrical issue and Mr *** told the technician
to go with the cruise control switch first and if that didn't solve the problem, to proceed with the electrical work, which
is exactly what the technician tried to do but Mr.*** failed to understand what he had agreed to do in the first placeWe
tried what we could to meet with him and continue but Mr.*** demanded that Home Auto Service refund his money and stated
that he would decide if he would like for the technician to continue once he received his refundMr*** also stated that
he was going to have our business reported to the news and threatened that we should've never messed with him.
Our goal is to please our customers and to make them happyWe're sorry that Mr.*** was unsatisfied and we are still willing
to help him if he would like further assistance

To whom it may concern,
We understand Mr.[redacted]s concerns and we're sorry that he is unhappy with our services as well as the other issues with his vehicle that he explained in his letter. He did mention this to us days later after my husband the technician worked on the cruise control and we did our very best at working something out with him but Mr.[redacted] was not willing to work with us until he received a refund as he demanded. I'd like to make this next part of my letter very clear. Mr.[redacted] paid for  the Cruise Control Switch/Lever as he specifically requested, the 2 light bulbs for his underhood, the service fee charge, and the labor. He absolutley knew what he was paying for and he knew that changing the cruise control switch could possibly not solve the complete problem. With him knowing this, he agreed to get the job done even if meant paying more money to get it completely fixed, if neccessary, which in this case it was. As it turned out, the technician did fix the cruise control switch, which needed to be changed out anyway because of how worn out it was. Mr [redacted] paid Home Auto Service the amount he was supposed to pay and that was $155 for the parts and labor. Mr. [redacted] mentioned that he wants a refund of $320 dollars. First of all, we charge $40 dollars for mobile services alone, and that is non-refundable. 2nd we charged Mr [redacted] the labor that he requested in the amount of $140 dollars. [redacted] spent a total of 6 hours including searching for the part at a few Auto Parts stores, driving to and from Mr [redacted]s home and removing and replacing the Cruise Control Switch. The $140 for labor also cannot be refunded.  We've attached a copy of the receipt signed by Mr [redacted].
Thank you very much
