Home Bridge specifically told us that we would be getting a portion, or all of, our Property Mortgage Insurance refunded to us when we paid off the mortgage They told us the sooner we paid it off the more we would get back, as it would be prorated We only had the mortgage for two months, paid it off and had paid $4,to PMI at closingThis was the ONLY reason we chose to do a FHA loan, because we were assured we would be getting that money back when we paid off our loan When we called the PMI customer service number they said we don't get any of it back, we were flat out lied to, DO NOT use Home Bridge services!! They will do anything to get you to use their service

Homebridge is the worst lender I've ever had the pleasure of working withThe mortgage with them took over six months because their underwriters were ridiculous in their demands and their nitpicking every single tiny detailThey even gave me grief about a mutual fund I used to make the down payment because it didn't have some tiny detail on the statement that I got from the fund service provider I went on to refinance my mortgage with homebridge and AGAIN it took over six months with ridiculous demandsEvery time I went to close they kept asking for more cash to closing and it was always at least $more than the disclosure stated Finally I gave up and refinanced with another lenderWithin three weeks we had closedHomebridge wasn't done, here I am several days after closing with another lender and they are still calling me demanding payment for the month or I'll be reported to the credit bureaus Homebridge has a talent for making the lending process as painful as possibleThey're not worth the hassle, aggravation or headacheDo yourself a favor and find a different lender

Finally I gave up and refinanced with another lender. Within three weeks we had closed. Homebridge wasn't done, here I am several days after closing with another lender and they are still calling me demanding payment for the month or I'll be reported to the credit bureaus.
Homebridge has a talent for making the lending process as painful as possible. They're not worth the hassle, aggravation or headache. Do yourself a favor and find a different lender.
