Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The missing spout is not the cause of the settled ground under the driveway My original complaint remains valid that I submitted several warranty issues and no one responded until after I filed with the Revdex.com The reason for the settled ground is debatable and I and my experts disagree with the builder The fact that the spout was off at the time of the builder's inspection does not prove cause The reason it was taken off was to finish the RV pad and the only time it was off was during the dry months of the summer The ground that I am working has been treated and dried to include the addition of gravel to stabilize the ground The spout was off for the last two months from July until Early September We had less than inches of rain for the entire summer, so there is no way that was impacted by a missing rain spout I feel the builder is using this as a reason to not fix the settled ground The ground under the driveway is dry and has been the entire year since I removed the sprinklers adjacent to the driveway and added gravel and compacted it.So this issue I had was about lack of response or of customer service The builder and I met on Friday that we would split the cost of the repair if we use a power pump to fill the void after several attempts to contact them through his website warranty system This has nothing to do with the pictures attached The builder's no cost solution for me was that he would pack concrete into the void by pounding it in manually The void is too far back and too large to use this method in my opinion and the opinion of separate concrete companies and QA/QC inspectors.I was under the impression that we all agreed to a solution an I agreed that I would pay for half a pump truck expense to properly fix this We also discussed the possible causes which included the excessive about of water adjacent to the driveway from my old sprinklers that were removed and from the neighbors sprinklers We are not in agreement after I read his response.Since my neighbors had similar issues with the same builder, I know it is what it is I agreed to the solution and sent to him in an email We agreed that it would be fixed using a pressure pump and I would pay for half of the pump truck The fact that the spout is off has nothing to do with the problem Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:  The missing spout is not the cause of the settled ground under the driveway.  My original complaint remains valid that I submitted several warranty issues and no one responded until after I filed with the Revdex.com.  The...

reason for the settled ground is debatable and I and my experts disagree with the builder.  The fact that the spout was off at the time of the builder's inspection does not prove cause.  The reason it was taken off was to finish the RV pad and the only time it was off was during the dry months of the summer.  The ground that I am working has been treated and dried to include the addition of gravel to stabilize the ground.  The spout was off for the last two months from July until Early September 2016.  We had less than .5 inches of rain for the entire summer, so there is no way that was impacted by a missing rain spout.  I feel the builder is using this as a reason to not fix the settled ground.  The ground under the driveway is dry and has been the entire year since I removed the sprinklers adjacent to the driveway and added gravel and compacted it.So this issue I had was about lack of response or of customer service.  The builder and I met on Friday 16 that we would split the cost of the repair if we use a power pump to fill the void after several attempts to contact them through his website warranty system.  This has nothing to do with the pictures attached.  The builder's no cost solution for me was that he would pack concrete into the void by pounding it in manually.  The void is too far back and too large to use this method in my opinion and the opinion of 3 separate concrete companies and QA/QC inspectors.I was under the impression that we all agreed to a solution an I agreed that I would pay for half a pump truck expense to properly fix this.  We also discussed the possible causes which included the excessive about of water adjacent to the driveway from my old sprinklers that were removed and from the neighbors sprinklers.  We are not in agreement after I read his response.Since my neighbors had similar issues with the same builder, I know it is what it is.  I agreed to the solution and sent to him in an email.  We agreed that it would be fixed using a pressure pump and I would pay for half of the pump truck.  The fact that the spout is off has nothing to do with the problem.
Sincerely,
