Card was canceled very out of the blue for no reason at all. My payments increased for no reason. I earned $173 dollars for using my card but cannot use them. I was told we had a month to use the "credit" earned. Nobody at *** knows what I am referring to when requested to use my "earned credit rewards" for using the card. Not only was our card abruptly cut off we were told to use our "earned *** dollars" or lose them. Many stores were extending grace periods to use these types of rewards because of lockdowns. Home Credit offered no type of extension. Thus, they still wanted us to get out in a pandemic to use our earned "points" or whatever you want to call them. I spoke to man named *** at an Omaha, Nebraska call center and he was very rude.

Lastly, home credit has increased the amount due. I am canceling my *** service if all of this is not sorted out. I was adding a line and upgrading two phones. Not anymore.

I received a letter from *** Home credit they were closing down their card on May 13,2020. I was given a month notice & my minimum payments have gone up. As I haven’t used the card in a while & was just making minimum payments I notice the usual minimum was up by Over $30. How is this reflecting on my credit report when May 13 arrives. It states closed at credit cards option. Shouldn’t it stTe credit company is out of business?

I HAD a *** credit card called the automated system. Paid all my balance in full.The next month I received a bill for $100+ stating it was for interest When I made that payment it should have had the interest calculated in it already. Denied cashing in my reward points. They have denied everything. To add more insult to injury my credit score yook a hit behind all this.

Home a credit refuses to credit my account the $17.89 that I earned in reward credit. The company closed all accounts with a day an a half notice and will not credit my account because a qualifying purchase was not made within 30 days. I was not given enough warning to be able to have made a qualifying purchase. I have made all my payments on time since I have been with this coma not since December of 2017. I pay around $34 per month in interest. I feel my measly $17.89 credit can be applied to my account. The company motto is “Small enough to care, big enough to help” and the 3 people I have called and spoke to have not helped and been a waste of my time. For the waste of time and frustration I believe I should also get a $25 courtesy credit. Thank you.

This company sent me email and text message on 3/16/2020 stating that my card was no longer active with no reason or explanation as to why. As of 3/17/2020 midnight the card was cancel.Than they hike my monthly payment up as well. If they are going to cancel my card without giving me a reason why Am I obligated to them when they broke their own contract without a reasonable explanation as to why they was taking this action. I never heard of this before, to just cancel with no reason.

Out of nowhere I get a email on the 3/14/20 saying my account would be close on 3/17/20 with no reason said to me why they did this,to me I say they are doing this because they think this codvid-19 will have customers maybe not be able to pay in the up coming future,I had this card for 2years or more and never miss one payment the bill got this high because I was paying my bill with it but they was taking so much money so I stop using it to pay my spring bill so now that this card was closed out out of nowhere they say I still have to pay thei interest on the card as I pay down my bill but I can no longer use this card, now I don’t mind paying my bill but why are they still allowed to charge ppl interest till our bill yo Me they done this right in the middle of this breakout virus..???????

Closing everyone accounts during Coronavirus threat!!!!
My credit score is a 730 never missed one payment with them
I received an email saying that my account has been cancelled but I can continue to make payments when I called and spoke to the representative she told me for customers cards or being suspended sounds a little strange to me that during the time of meeting with the coronavirus going around that home Credit decides to suspend everyone’s accounts because they don’t want people using the card in a time of need. Sounds a. little selfish and they claim to be home Credit US that’s not the US way so this company should be shut down and be put out of business and be fined for what they’re doing to their customers it’s disgusting it’s unprofessional and they should be ashamed of themselves

Home Credit sent an email to customers yesterday informing them they were suspending transactions and cash advances effective today. They gave customers less than 24 hours notice, with confusing communication for how they would be fully impacted. They claimed rewards would still be accessible until April 15, 2020. I didn't know how to redeem my rewards which is only available on the mobile app, or how to transfer a credit card balance, so I attempted to call twice yesterday to speak with a live person. The call waits were in access of 37 minutes and 40 minutes still without response. I waited on call today as well only to find out all my options for actions I could take on this card were no longer. Not only were customers given no notice on restrictions but strategically home credit has avoided honoring what could be significant rewards they owe their customers. They were not answering calls within the small window given to address confusion or to ensure people had access to their options. They did not have any information available on the website or mobile app to further address any questions or issues. And based on not making any purchases with the card in the window given, I have been denied approx. $137 worth of reward points. This does not take into account the thousands of customers that have also been placed in this predicament. I spoke this evening with a frontline and a supervisor and was told there are no options available and the rewards will not be honored.

They have closed my account without giving any reason. They did not send any notification to my home. They sent an email telling me they were closing my account but did not indicate why. I have been in good standing since the card was issued several months back. In todays day and age SPAM and SCAMS are abundant, and how they proceeded with this was very unprofessional. They refuse to answer the phone lines nor respond to social media messages. I want a reason why my account was closed immediately!

My husband became disabled.in 2017 and it affected our income drastically. We signed up with ***. We have been working to pay off the bills we had. I notified *** of their information. They wrote off the balance on my credit report. They told me they wouldn't deal they said. *** is still trying to allow us to pay a settlement amount. I don't believe this is fair. The account is for myself.

I have an open credit card in good standings and out of no where received notification that my credit card has been shutdown with no explanation. I would like to know what happened and why this has occurred when I only had it open for approx 6 months and out of no where they decide to shut it down. This makes no sense as to not giving an sufficient explanation.

the letter never stated the reason this happened. Although I heard it happened to many others but they never gave a valid reason. How can you close an account and when asked why they give no reason. Only an apology. I would like a valid reason this account was closed.

I paid off a balance of over $4500 with this company on 2/14/2020. I check my app to see the balance at zero, but nope. my balance was still there with an additional $80 due to interest, which I looked on the app it was because my balance was not paid off by the 14th, but it was. I've been in finance for over 12 years and this is not how it works. If my balance was paid off by the end of my billing cycle, which it was, you can not charge the interest. If I had made the payment today, the 15th, ok, that makes sense. But the supervisor I spoke to, *** employee ID said no! that's not how it works! Said if my balance was not paid off by END OF DAY of the 14th, (which it was) then interest would accumulate.

I called and spoke with ***, ***, and *** at Home credit regarding redeeming my $62 in bonus rewards on my home credit card and they refused to allow me to redeem the credit.

When purchasing a new iPhone from the Sprint dealer in Port St Lucie FL, I was
offered a credit card with 0% Interest for 18 months. Great - I got it. this was Oct 3, 2018.
Now I noticed this month, Feb 28 2019, I have an interest charge or $46.35 this month and total interest for 2019 equals $82.35!!! its my third billing. Of course I had checked in the beginning and, yep NO interest! With a statement at the top of the second page stating, "PURCHASES 0% FOR 18 MONTHS".

This month says the same! I called the billing number 855-456-8048, which after some 11 minutes I discovered this was Sprint! Well, I need Home Credit, oh she said I'll connect -- which again took another 4-5 minutes.

I finally get Home Credit, I very nice Courtney, who tried to help, but could do nothing. She got me a Supervisor. Now it's over 20 minutes I am on this call, and getting very frustrated. (Courtney had said the Super couldn't help.)

Sure enough she couldn't. I stated false advertising, and an extreme interest rate of 26.99%, couldn't you lower it? plus I am a senior with a small income. She stated this deal was ONLY for purchases from Sprint! Nobody told ME that! The Supervisor then said she would take off the current interest fees if I would pay the balance today! After again stating my issues - that I had been using this card because of the 0%, my age, etc. and asked if she could come up with $2000 today? No answer. By the way, I told her I have several other cards available, but used this for the 0% interest rate.

I said thanks for no help and said goodbye then hung up the phone.

Would NOT recommend! There is no way to reach them other than their "Customer Service" number and they do not respond. My account was put on Hold because I paid off the balance of the credit card, plus a few cents to make it even. I found this much out aftertwo calls because my card was declined for a purchase and I called "Customer Service". Was told I'd receive a call back from their "Back Office" within 48 hours - 52 hours later I called back when I never received a call. I called the next day also and was told it was sent to the "Front Office" and still no contact from them to me. I have perfect credit and have paid this institution and every other creditor on time!
If a business can't be bothered to call back their concerned customer, they are not worth doing business with! Too many consumer choices to be stuck with companies that don't value their customers.
