Review: My neighbor purchased furniture from [redacted] who contracted their delivery service to Home Delivery Link. During the delivery process on May [redacted], 2015, the delivery truck knocked down the brick fence of my house. We reported to the police and obtained the police report. Also, we have camera clips that recorded the incident. After we received the police report, I reported this incident to [redacted] first. They referred me to Home Delivery Link. I got in touched with the manager of Home Delivery Link [redacted]. I submitted to him the police report, the camera clip, and the estimate from contractor to fix the fence on June [redacted], 2015. He said he will submit the claim to corporate. I have been following up with him ever since, and he kept telling me he is waiting for corporate to respond. Until today, September [redacted] 2015, Mike told me Home Delivery Link will not take any responsibilities to this incident and pushed me to its independent contractor [redacted] (###-###-####). I felt very frustrated since I've been patiently waiting for so many months, I submitted all the required paper work, never got any resolution, and now being pushed to another entity. I asked for Mike's help for contacting [redacted] with me to resolve the issue, however, he rejected me and told me it was not their responsibility and he could only give me their contact. I feel extremely helpless since Home Delivery Link didn't extend any help to me, postponed the issue for so long, and not willing to take any responsibility even though it is Home Delivery Link who hired this independent contractor.Desired Settlement: I spent $2,800 to fix my brick fence, I had no choice but to pay and fix the fence first since it caused insecurity to my home. I am requesting the reimbursement for my expense either from Home Delivery Link or it taking responsibility and reimburse from their own independent contractor [redacted].
