Nov. 06-15Dear Revdex.com, I am sorry to not have replied until today due to the fact that my sister (who also worked here) passed away Oct. 14, 2015 and I just made final burial arrangements on Saturday Oct. 24, 2015.We have been in the Washington DC Metro area for ninety eight...

years (since 1917) servicing retail tire customers and we have been doing both tires and alignment at this location for over thirty five years (since 1980).  We specialize in tires and alignments since 1980 at this location. I am former ASE Certified in alignments and current Maryland State Police inspector and Maryland State Supervisor over the inspection station. Wilbur (Maryland State Inspector and ASE Alignment Certified) at A.C. Tire Company for last nine years (since 2006) and Roy former [redacted] Certified and aligns most of our heavy truck vehicles. A.G. Tire Company only did a truck alignment and nothing more. The work truck is a dual wheel one ton heavy 10,000 lb truck.  It is over thirty three years old (1982) work truck with a broken (unknown mileage) odometer. Customer has had others work on his truck to replace misc. parts on his front end.  A.C. Tire Company did no work to this truck except alignment adjustment only. Wilbur also informed customer that due to the age of the truck that our computer did not list his truck in the computer (over 33 years old) and is our of aftermarket history information. We informed customer also that we would do manual adjustment.  Customer replied "Go ahead and align it as best as you can."  That is what we did. Some heavy trucks must be manually adjusted for more toe in as parts and vehicles age and sometimes require additional adjustment after new parts are installed by others. A.C. Tire Company is not responsible for the aging vehicle's worn parts and not responsible for its "defective new parts" (some of which we informed customer the parts that he had other install for him. Truck Vehicle StatusWe tried to assist customer by calling parts store and parts warehouse manager and parts manufacturer for customer warranty parts and labor claim consideration.  The parts store warehouse manager informed us that they would only pay for parts replacement only and no labor reimbursement costs. We informed customer that he must call parts manufacturer direct himself to request a labor claim to help him towards his needed replacement costs for his newer defective parts. Customer got upset over phone and called A.G. Tire Company back and verbally threatened our staff.  Lou, Roy and Jeanette (office worker).We had to call police on Oct. 23-15 12:05 pm to report [redacted] had threatened over the phone "you ain't seen nothing yet" "you wait" "I'm coming up a causing a scene to all your store customers"  He threatened A.C. Tire Company and its staff. This is where we stop.  We told [redacted] we would offer him his full $140.00 truck alignment refund and he can take his truck to another truck alignment shop.  Be he refused the offer.  We would still offer a full refund to customer $140.00 in the interest of having customer go elsewhere for his service of his truck. We resolve no ill will or bad judgement and do not want customer to return in the interest of betterment relationship.  Thank you, Lou.
