In the world of online shopping, almost 100% of the shipping companies make deliveries on weekdays (Monday to Friday) there are few companies who work on weekends (almost 1% of them)We went to the shipping company to see if we could pay an extra charge and make the delivery on weekend, the request

To avoid this inconvenience, we sell this sofa as gray without establishing the intensity of gray because it depends on the point of view of the person who observed. In that sense, we publish pictures of the real sofa and describe as GRAY, which is exactly what it is (as can be seen in the photos on...

our site). Customers have the ability to view the photos published and even can ask for more photos in order to clarify any doubts they have about the product that they want to buy. In this case, the customer was expecting a sofa with a darker gray. We gave the option to return it based on our return policy which they did not accept and took the option to kept the product.

Misleading / false information on advertisement

The Ferrara sofa was delivered to us on 8 April. When the delivery people started unpacking the sofa we immediately noticed that the color of the sofa was not dark gray as advertised. The color is light gray with golden stitching on the fabric. Obviously, the advertisement does not give accurate information on the product. We immediately asked the company to send us a high resolution picture of the dark gray sofa they have at their warehouse to confirm the one we received is indeed of dark gray color and not another one they have for sale that is of light gray color - the company did not respond.

Further, the sofa we received came with two red pillows while the add clearly states (and the main picture on the add shows) it comes with two dark gray pillows. We contacted the customer service while the delivery people where still at our place and told the representative that we would like to return the sofa as it had the wrong color and also the pillows were not as advertised. The customer service informed us that they will not accept the return.

We have since contacted the customer service several times by phone and email. The advertisement on the sofa has been recently revised after our complaint - it now states that the sofa includes two red pillows. After the revision of the add we contacted the company again and asked whether they now admit that their add included misleading / false information and if we could return the sofa. Their response was "clearly the information is not false, the sofa is dark gray and sofas can be accompanied by pillows of any color because it's a gift, in this case, we did not have any dark gray pillows so we gave you red ones".

The company has recently agreed that we may return the sofa, but we need to pay for the return shipment. Since dealing with the company has already taken a significant amount of our time and we have incurred e.g. additional phone expenses due to the dispute we find it unreasonable for us to pay for the return shipment.Desired Settlement: We request the company to accept the refund of the sofa and also cover the cost of return shipment.

Review: Ordered furniture on the basis that it would be delivered today, 10/2/2015 - we need it for this weekend. Carrier tells us that the earliest delivery will be late next week.

Tried to contact Home Design HD, but their phone system tells me that the office is closed, even though we're well within normal opening hours.Desired Settlement: We'd like Home Design HD to contact the carrier and expedite the delivery of our furniture, and cease to provide misleading information about delivery timescales in future.
