Response:On Wednesday, April 22, *** *** came to our store to purchase a captain bed for her son in the color blackShe did in fact pay the full amount of $The next day I (***) the sales person was not here so I left the order number for the Store Manager ( *** ) out so
she can order it and deliver for Saturday April 25, The bed was a captain bed in blackShe also purchased a twin set with the bunky board. On Saturday when I came back to the store I asked *** if she had done the order and she said yesThe guys went to deliver, she was not told lies about deliveryWhen ordering furniture we give an estimate time not an exact time as we have stated in our store policy no guaranteed delivery time, just because the delivery guys create their own routeHence, when they delivered the twin captain bed, they made a mistake and her brought her the beige color instead of the blackSince it is a ***tform bed it does not necessarily need to have a bunky board, so it was the delivery guys mistake that they didn't deliver the bunk boardWhen the guys got there and she saw the color of the bed, she did not want it but her son said it's fine he will take it, he just wants a bed to sleep onShe insisted and the guys even asked her if she wanted them to assemble it for her and she said yesIf she didn't want the bed she should not have had the delivery guys assemble the incorrect color of the captain bedInstead she let them keep on assembling the wrong color bedLater that day she came to the store and said they did not deliver the bunky board, so the store manager understood and told her it was her fault, she ordered the wrong bed color*** then told her stay with that bed for the weekend and on monday we will change it for youOn Monday April 27, morning as soon as I came in I saw that there was already scheduled deliveries for the day so I called *** and told her I can't give you an exact time today because we are booked most likely tomorrow they can deliverI than called the company to make sure the bed was available, and they told me yesThe next day Tuesday April 28, was my day offI was told on Wednesday when I came back to work that they took the bunky board, but the captain bed in black was out of stock for months or soAs soon as I came she called and I told her we have no control over thatIn addition, the delivery guys told me that when they delivered the bunky board they had forgotten she said she was going to stay with the bedIf she did not want to keep that bed she had to tell the guys not to assemble it because if she did not want it she should have given it back to them and get her refundShe even signed the paper we give out guys after delivery stating " I have received every piece of furniture and every thing is delivered in good condition"I offered her a $gift card and she refused to take itIf we do give her a refund she has to then give back the bed and mattress setIt's not in our hands, unfortunately the bed she picked was not in stock, and we have no control over that

Response:Dear Revdex.com and [redacted], I went over your com[redacted]int and discovered some flaws in your statement. From our understanding, before our team assembled the bed, you accepted the assembly, knowing it was a different color. Also, we did deliver the mattress (he had somewhere to sleep over the weekend). We are here to serve our clientele and have never had a bad review or a com[redacted]int with Revdex.com. Our goal is to provide customers with their needs. As there was a misunderstanding with our product, we will accept to pick up the entire merchandise (the bed, the mattress, and bunkie board) and issue a full refund for $361 which includes taxes and delivery/assembly, as long as the product is in the condition it was delivered to you (brand new). Just let us know when it is a good time to pick up the furniture.

I am rejecting this response because: 1) I find it hard to believe that this store has never received a com[redacted]int.  Maybe not through the Revdex.com, but I'm sure I'm not the first customer they had issues with for failure to deliver the correct merchandise to.  And 2) There were no flaws in my statement.  Home Design is refusing to remember that after me arguing with them over their mess up & repeated discrepancies in stories from their part over the span of 4 days, they asked me to stay with the bed temporarily. The only reason I allowed the assembly of the bed was because the sales lady asked me to stay with the bed for over the weekend until the delivery of the correct bed. So obviously if I am asked to stay with the bed temporarily, it had to be assembled.  What we are looking for is for partial refund. I want my son to stay with the mattress and bunkie set.
