Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is more than satisfactory to me.
Less than a week after the visit and report to the BBS, this organization responded with care, concern and intentional compassion to my needs in an effort to protect others The inspector even called me personally to apologize, make amends, and ask for grace to be applied I couldn't be more impressed with the organization's care for my request I hope all organizations respond with such care and concern! Not only does this turn my view of them a near full-degrees, I think it's important to know that this company will address said concerns and will only emphasize their "free inspection" as promised
My concern for this report had more to do with protecting others from the uncomfortable feeling I experienced, but to know that when you are honest with a company and they respond with favor, compassion and care (regardless of whether they are looking out for their own feedback), that it is more impressive than how uncomfortable I felt I wholeheartedly recommend this organization for people to trust, but caution you from agreeing to anything on the first home inspection
Thank you for your care and compassion

This woman has us mized up with someone else. Whoever called her is not us or our company. The phone number the lady is referring to is not associated with our company. Nor do we do business in the Los Angeles Area.

The Home Efficiency Assistance Program is the same company as Syntrol Plumbing, Heating & Air on 2120 March Road, Roseville, CA 95747. Their phone number is 916-772-5813. The company is majority owned by Paul Bianchi III, former owner of Bianchi Plumbing. The sham front Home Efficiency Assistance Program operates an illegal robo dialing system to help promote sales for Syntrol. They try to run a 2 step process to close a home improvement sale. They first attempt to set up an appointment with a Home Efficiency Assistance Program representative for an energy consultation/evaluation. Then that representative will try to qualify the homeowner for bogus discounts to help with energy improvement recommendations. At that point the representative will either refer this to an "engineer" for further evaluation or possibly try to close the sale themselves. The Home Efficiency Assistance Program is ran by Angelica Amaya. If you ever have the misfortune of receiving a bogus robo call, you should contact either Paul or Angelica and complain. As well, here are some helpful links to combat this company and their illegal dealings:

given to vandalism. He hoped to still conduct business with the owner as well, and damage to a screen would obviously spoil that opportunity.

While we do not have any factual evidence of wrongdoing on our part, we will still be replacing the homeowner's screen for them as a gesture of good will.

Review: I feel dirty after letting them "help evaluate my household energy efficiency" with a governmental program. The guy they said would come did not & this guy didn't seem to know why.Evaluate what? He looked at my a/c on the roof and ran a bunch of credit reports (it me) to "see if I qualify" prior to even giving a look around for efficiency. "Seriously, this' deal is unheard of...""Today only ... Let me set you up with an engineer." Ugggh... I feel bad (and was manipulated to do so in a way based on the terse disappearance sans handshake, look in the eye, etc.).Desired Settlement: I'd like to verify that my wife and my identity have not been compromised and have a credit check removed from any credit bureau.

Review: This company has been calling and calling our home off and on for 4 or 5 months. They probably call 2 to 3 times per month. We live in an almost new home (10 years old) and feel no need for any "energy efficiency" inspection yet. Each time they have called, I have selected the "remove number from call list" option, but we continue to keep getting these calls. Oh sure, they try to be tricky by changing their "call from" number. Sometimes it's from an 800 number and sometimes it's not, but each time I have selected the option to "opt out" of call backs. So I got another one today and figured I would try another option. I selected the number 1 prompt to speak to a customer service professional. When I got one on the line, I immediately acted like I was interested and then asked for the name of the company. Then I explained my situation to the person and they came up with all kinds of expected responses. Then I asked for the person's name. Silence, silence and more silence. Then...a dial tone. He had hung up on my rather than be a man and give me his name.Desired Settlement: I just want an end to these calls and would like to see something done to insured that the company adheres to it "do not call pledge" instead of ignoring the request and calling back from different numbers. That's all.

Review: I received a phone call on my cellular phone at noon, with a recording saying to press 1 to find out how to increase my energy efficiency of my home. At first I thought it was PG&E calling. Then an operator picked up who immediately started asking me questions.I answered a few questions and then I started asking questions. They are "State and Federally funded" they are subcontracting with PG&E and they are a private organization. When I asked what their address was, the operator said "I don't have to tell you" and hung up.I called PG&E because I assumed they gave my phone number, but they insisted they did not share my phone number, and that they knew HEAP is "calling everyone" with this rude practice. This along with the other complaints about them should be reason to never do business with them. It should be illegal to telephone every number, even cellular phones!Desired Settlement: send me a check for $20 for my wasted time receiving the phone call and following up with Revdex.com and PG&E to complain about it, and more importantly, stop "cold-calling" people.

Review: I have recently become disabled, walking, standing, and sleep are almost impossible for me, at this time. For the last three months my phone keeps ringing 2 or 3 times a day everyday. It has been borderline harassment. So Thursday April 24th it happens again, I had finally fallen asleep. So I am upset when I answer. It goes straight to the same recording, so instead of just hanging up I wanted to talk to someone and tell them to stop harassing me. Instead I am connected to a person who tells me that I qualify for federal assistance for my home ie. upgrades and such. well I am all for that. To make a long story short salesman shows up here and tells me that he can do multiple upgrades and since I am over 50 and disabled he can really get me some great rates. Says my hot-water heater is in serious emergency condition, and that he can swing me a killer deal. He comes at me with waiving the down payment and gets me into install and kinds of great add-on, says its only "$72.99" a month for 132 months. Then he gets this important call and has to leave and for me just to sign and he will come back and finish the deal! After he left I realized this guy must be crazy I would be paying for 11years, 72.99 a month comes out to $10,000.00 for a water-heater. I lost my mind. Felt like an it. Just want the calls to stop! that's all!Desired Settlement: Please make their company stop calling me!!!
