Our charge is $40 for the 1st applicant and $20 for an additional applicant. This is stated on the application.
However if the applicants are married we can pull a joint credit report rather than 2 separate credit reports. It’s been our understanding that $40 is sufficient to cover the cost of the...

It is not first come first serve. We disclose when we are in a multiple application situation and if all applicants are qualified it is the strongest applicant that is given the first option, not the first application received. It is our policy in a multiple application situation to process up to 3 application at the same time.
This application was not declined. It could not be completed because we were unable to verify the information needed in a timely manner. However, they were not the strongest applicant. The strongest applicant was give 1st choice. Presented the deposit and proceed to lease that particular home.
[redacted] and [redacted] where told we had another home they might be interested in and if the application could be completed and they would qualify they might be interested in that home.
Timeline of process
5/28/2015 Completed application received.
5/28/15 The credit report was pulled which indicated some discrepancies that would need to be paid prior to being approved.
6/3/15 Spoke with [redacted] and informed her we were still waiting on the landlord verification.
6/3/15 @ 3:40pm Called landlord and they have the verification form and waiting on a board member to sign it.
6/3/15 I asked [redacted] to log on to the 3rd party employment verification website (The Work Number) and retrieve her employment history.  As an employee, she can get this information at no cost. We don’t pay to participate in those services. She refused. Said that was my responsibility. I told her that we would have to charge if that was the case.
6/4/15 After 7 days of no response from landlord and unable to receive employment verification the application was considered incomplete and letter stating such was sent to the applicant.
