I represent the interest of Home
Invest Property Management of WI, LLC. I am in receipt of the complaint dated
October 17, 2017. This letter constitutes my client’s response pursuant to the
information that I currently possess. Complainant duly executed a
rental agreement for the subject...

property prior to the commencement of the
rental period on October 1, 2017. On or about September 28, 2017, a Home Invest
manager inspected the property and found it to be in good condition. On or about October 2, 2017,
complainant obtained the keys for the property and discovered that the property
was vandalized. Home Invest corrected the damage on or about the period of
October 2-3, 2017. On or about October 4, a Home Invest property manager
inspected the property and found it to be in good repair. Subsequently, complainant
contacted your agency. Our analysis is as follows: Complainant is legally responsible for payment of the balance of the term of the lease. The damage caused to the property was beyond the control of Home Invest. When Complainant reported the issue to Home Invest, they promptly investigated the damage and made repairs to return the property to rental condition. Complainant’s conclusions cited in the complaint are speculative and would not support termination of the rental agreement in a court of law. To resolve the complaint and in
the spirit of compromise, Home Invest would be willing to return complainant’s
security deposit, water bill payment and insurance premium, and terminate the
lease without further liability effective November 1, 2017. In
consideration of the above, Complainant and
Home Invest would enter into a mutual release of all claims. Please advise if the settlement
proposal cited herein is acceptable to Complainant.  If so, we will draft the release
and forward same to Complainant for execution. Upon receipt of the executed
release by Complainant, we will forward the security deposit, water deposit and
