Home Life Academy

Home Life Academy provides an umbrella program to Christian parents wishing to teach their children at home legally under the umbrella school option. They are stationed in TN and that is where I use them so I cannot speak for how it works out of state. They allow you to choose the curriculum you will use to teach and require you to submit grades and attendance twice a year. In TN, their records department also has you send them the up-to-date shot records for your child so that legal requirements are met. The counselors are top-notch and respond quickly! I find their online record keeping service to be very easy to use and their website works great. Their price is very affordable and they often have "sales" where it is even less expensive. I would recommend anyone looking to homeschool (especially in TN) use this umbrella school. The only concern I would note, which they do on their website, is that this is an option really for those planning to homeschool thru graduation. They are not considered an official accredited school but offer a diploma and have requirements to ensure your child has been educated properly. Students have been accepted into universities having graduated there and qualify for scholarships. The only issue with the accreditation is when transferring back to public/private school, testing for grade placement would be required.","pos-1
