Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 12, 2016/07/25) */ [redacted] M.BEye Electrical Incwas contacted by [redacted] to conduct electrcial services and organize other sub trades to complete the project required as soon as we couldA visual quote was given and later a formal quote was sent and agreed on by [redacted] We preformed all the required work and after the project completion there was some items we did not in fact need for the completion so we issued a credit on the quote As per every project we require client signature for being on site to protect us in the incident there would be any issuesThe client singed the workers job sheets and saw some hours written down on the job sheet and when the project invoice was sent out she said she was only paying for the hours she signed the job sheet forand there begins the emails after emailShe was quoted a project and confirmed to be completed asked for all materials to be broken out for cost plus mark up, we do not get into breakeing out the complete pricing on quoted jobs At one point [redacted] was asked to stop emailing our company as it was starting to cause problems and effect other work and she continued to email and cause problems To make this short and sweet we provided a service of which there was never a issue about the quality of service and she agreed to our price we completed the project and we are not paid in full! The response does not address the fundamental issues that I wanted addressed 1: That [redacted] told me this job was a "renovation" project and the quote would be adjusted to reflect the work actually done and materials needed 2: That the quote was a guide as to the cost that it should not go over but would be less pending on the work and materials needed during the job 3: That MB Eye Electrical misrepresented [redacted] and made me believe there were costs that I was required to pay when their wasn't [redacted] That MB Eye failed to obtain the required permits from the Gov't at the time of the job and was obtained only after I called That MB Eye has not provided me with the certificate of completion as per Gov't regulations That he and his company's credibility and integrity was put into question when items were added to the bill and I was made to believe was factual That I was overcharged for the Gov't permits That I was overcharged for labour hours as per the job sheet That I continued to send emails to clarify questions and invoices I received for additional payment Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 18, 2016/07/27) */ This project was indeed a renovation and she was QUOTED a price to complete the work and at the end of the project was actually billed less then the quote exactly as stated to the clientShe was told that the quote would not be any higher then that amount based on materials needed, less material was installed and she was credited from Quoted amount 3.We did not misrepresent [redacted] at all we provided permits from Gov;t with a small fee and [redacted] services with a small fee, there is no misrepresentation other then the client not knowing all of the Code rules and typical protocol for organization of project which involves all three partiesAll our work is fully certified and needs approval and fees paid to both parties or work does not proceed, thats the law 4.The Client did not get a copy of the permit because as per our invoices "copy of permit will be provided upon time of final payment" this protects my company from situations like this not getting paid for work agreed to! The clients project is inspected by gov't offices and approved and paid in fullStill no final payment from client After the quote and invoice the client demanded I break out all material and labour costs, on quoted projects we do not break out all costs to protect our marginsQuote was agreed to, it is up to the client to get other quotes and I do not believe she did 7.yes she was over charged to permits, it takes my office time and money to organize the permits and we simply charge additional for that service The job sheet the client signed is simply to track my employees for pay the job sheet does not include any man ours of sub trades or off site work, which in this case were disposal fees and other sub trades who where contracted out by my company Yes there were many emails of which I responded and each email asked for more things to be broken out, we did state we do not get into breaking out all material on quoted jobs She continued to argue the bill and I finally ask her to pay and stop [redacted] or I would [redacted] At this point this project has been exhausted and is costing me valuable timeWe provided a services of which she stated she was happy with and adjusted the quote to be a bit less then first quotedwhy am I being taken to Revdex.com for services provided and agreed upon by the client? * Has not justified the additional 14 hrs of "Electrical labour hours"
* Called Gov't Electrical Inspector and company had not obtained the any permit for the installation of the convect air heaters. After 4 months, the Gov't had to call and ensure the permit was obtained and paid for. A small penalty may have been imposed for not getting the permit after 4 months.
