I did not withdraw my application the loan was denied. I asked for the denial letter and they produced a letter with incorrect information. They lied stating I withdrew my application. As stated I paid an independent CPA several hundred dollars to produce the information the lender specifically requested, (there is a written e-mail chain between the lender and CPA) the lender then refused to accept the information and changed their mind and wanted information that would cost me additional thousands of dollars and months to provide. The underwriter even told the CPA they ordered the information just to see what would happen, this is no service to me the borrower. This is also irresponsible lending/business practices with a borrowers money. To my knowledge FHA does not require a borrower to pay to get a loan. I explained my entire situation even supplying my current credit score to the lender prior to the application. If they did not want me as a customer they should have just stated so prior to me entering the process.
