Faulty roof install. Water damage to kitchen ceiling in ***. Roof (where leaking occurred) and kitchen ceiling need repair.
Home One replaced our roof 2 years ago (with a 10 year warranty). We had heavy rain in ***, which resulted in leaking and ceiling damage in our kitchen. Roof needs repair as does my kitchen ceiling per warranty. Over the last 2 months, I have called 10 times, left about 5 messages, and sent 3 emails with zero answers or replies.

Very poor.

This company lost my insurance and deductible checks and went ahead and did the work last October so they apparently thought they had a down payment.

They then started hounding me to pay the bill knowing my insurance company was reissuing the checks mentioned above.

In the pr ok cess of dealing with the account payable person she mentioned the sent invoice was too high and only needed to pa it x amount. Of course, I had already sent in the original amount. She claimed a refund would come shortly. After 6 weeks of waiting I called and they claimed the bill was paid in full but would check with their employee and call me back in 24 hours tops. No call. I called again and what do you know. Sir you were right we do owe you x amount. I wonder if I would gotten my refund if I hadn't made that second call?

I discovered a leak in my garage in March. They showed up 6 weeks later. I was assured it would be within 2 days.

After a hard rain in June the leak is back. I called again. Same lip service 2 days. Its now been 8 weeks and another hard rain has more water damage in my garage. Another call. Same lip service. We will see.

I guess I'm the bad guy because they lost checks requiring my attention to get them reissued. It's my fault they did a poor job on my roof and water is seeping in. After 3 calls about the water intrusion alone I should know they aren't going to repair the problem or fix the damage caused in my garage.

Avoid this company like the plague.

Signed a contract with Home One Roofing to get my roof replaced back in ***. Gave them a deposit and our insurance check. Did not hear from them until *** saying that our shingles were in and they asked us what side of the drive way we wanted them to put the shingles. Did not hear from them again until the middle of *** when a letter came in the mail saying they have cancelled our contract and that they would refund us out money. Come the first week of *** still have not gotten our money back, so I called them and they would not return our call at first. Finally got a hold of someone and they woman I talked to said she knew nothing about the contract being cancelled. Called our insurance company to see if they had already cashed the insurance check and they had back in ***. Insurance called Home One Roofing and they said they would send us our money in thirty days. I called on the thirty day mark cause we still had no money back. Talked to another person in the company last week and he told me to expect the check on Wednesday(***) still no money, waited until Thursday and no money, then today(Friday) and still nothing. Called company 7 times and left two messages about wanting my money back. Still they will not answer or return my calls. I had a neighbor call the company just to see if they would answer and sure enough they did. So I called them the minute my neighbor got off the phone with them and no answer yet again.

This company was great to work with! They helped me the insurance claim process, they made it a easy and smooth process. I was very happy with the work that was preformed and everything was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them!

I had home one out to look at some storm damage on my roof. I had met with a few companies and was very impressed by their expertise and knowledge. The crew who came out was very clean and quick. I was overall really happy with their work!

was a very nice man and explained everything, I had 3 other bids and they all wanted money down, Home One-Roofing is no money down and reasonable pricing, my roof looks great!!
