Review: THIS COMPANY PROVIDE SERVICES TO OUTSIDE COUNTRY PEOPLE TO PLACE FOREIGN STUDENTS IN HOMES IN WHICH THE HOST WILL BE COMPENSATED WITH SOME MONEY FOR THEIR TIME OF STAY IN THE HOST HOUSE.

PRIOR THE ARRIVAL OF THE STUDENTS , THEY APPARENTLY CHARGE YOU A $35.00 FEE FOR CHECK BACKGROUND FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL OVER 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER , WHICH THEY NEVER DO. I ASK THEM SEVERAL TIMES FOR MY REPORT WITHOUT HAVING ANY ANSWER AS TODAY.

THEY ALSO OFFER CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR EACH DAY OF THE STAY OF STUDENTS, BASE ON THE GROUP AND THE TIME LENGTH THEY WILL PAY YOU. HOWEVER THEIR INCONSISTENCY OF AMOUNTS, THE LACK OF ORGANIZATION, THE LIES ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THE HOST WILL RECEIVE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN OTHER PARENTS HOSTING SAME GROUP FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAYS.

IN MY SITUATION 2 OF MY FRIENDS & MYSELF WE HOST KIDS FROM CHINA FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAYS, THE AMOUNT THEY SHOULD PAY US WAS $ 1,000. 00 WITH A DEDUCTION OF $ 35 FOR THE BACKGROUND CHECK . HOWEVER WE ALL 3 RECEIVED 3 DIFFERENT AMOUNTS, ONE WAS FOR $930.00, OTHER WAS $ 895.00 AND MY CHECK WAS FOR $ 860.00. THEY ALSO OFFER REFERRAL FEE'S EVERY-TIME YOU RECOMMEND ANOTHER HOME SO THEY CAN PLACE MORE STUDENTS. THE AMOUNTS ARE ALWAYS INCONSISTENCY AND MOST OF THE TIMES THEY NEVER PAY YOU FOR THE REFERRAL OR THE AMOUNTS ARE DIFFERENT. AS TODAY I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY BACKGROUND REPORT WHICH THEY SHOULD IF HAVE IT BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF THE KID. MY CHINESE KID IS ALREADY BACK IN HIS COUNTRY. AS I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE OVERALL SCAM AND LIES OF THIS COMPANY I BEEN ASKING OTHER PARENTS FROM OTHER GROUPS AND THEY ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM . THEY PROMISE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT COMPENSATION FOR GAS EXPENSES AND SOMETIMES THEY NEVER PAY, THEY ALLEGED IS ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE PAYMENT. THEY ARE STEALING TO A LOT PEOPLE IN A VERY POLITE AND QUIET WAY. I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES, THIS COMPANY IS MANAGED ONLY FROM 3 PEOPLE AND THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS REALLY BAD. THEY OWE ME $150.00 . STILL WAITINGDesired Settlement: I NEED THIS COMPANY TO PAY THE MONEY THEY OWE ME , THE TOTAL AMOUNT IS $ 150.00 AND SEND ME MY BACKGROUND REPORT.

We have received both letters from your office concerning the above referenced case. Our office has spoken to the concerned party many times, and although we have carefully explained why she feels there is a discrepancy in the funds she received, she will not listen to and accept our explanation. However, she says she will do everything she can to spread the word that she is unhappy and will not recommend our business. We work (10 years) with many educational institutions throughout California and have never had any complaints as we always do our best to resolve any issues. However, we cannot just mail funds to a host family because other host families have received more or less based on our individual contracts with each family.

However, we have taken care of all the issues she has outlined regarding payments for referrals. The host referred two other host families of which we paid her $40.00 for each referral for a total of $80.00 and we have mailed her an additional $80.00 this week as extra compensation for those two referrals. We have also returned $35.00 for the background check that was not completed on her husband and in addition we have mailed her the results of the background check which was completed on her. At this point, we feel we have completely taken care of all of her concerns.
