Review: While visiting the website ([redacted]) to obtain information on Club Hill Apartments (Home Plus L.L.C. of Va. or Home Plus L.L.C.) they have listed that they are a member of the [redacted] Chamber of Commerce. When I contacted the [redacted] Chamber of Commerce to get information on this business they had no file on this company being a part of the [redacted] Chamber of Commerce. While on the phone the representative pulled up the website and stated that this information should not be listed on their website, they have no record of this company listed by either name (Home Plus L.L.C. or [redacted]) in their database. She also stated that she had no record of this company ever being a part of the [redacted] Chamber of Commerce. The number I contacted for the [redacted] County Chamber of Commerce is [redacted]Desired Settlement: This information should be removed from their website. This is false leading information to consumers interested in leasing with this apartment complex/rental agency. They should not be allowed to falsify information that is misleading, untrue and incorrect.

HomePlus, L.L.C. was a member of the [redacted] Chamber of Commerce from 2009 until 2013, at which time in 2014 we did not renew our membership because we found no benefit to being a member of the [redacted] Chamber. [redacted] was given incorrect information when he was told that HomePlus, L.L.C. had never been a member, we have proof and verification in our office of membership from 2009 until 2013. [redacted] was in fact given correct information when he was told as of 2014 HomePlus, L.L.C. is no longer a member. The information has been removed from the website.
We at HomePlus feel that [redacted] is being childish, considering he is not a tenant of ours nor have we had any business interaction with him in the past or presently. He was a guest of one of our tenants and after throwing a tantrum and making a scene was asked to leave the property by not only the Property Manager but, also, an officer with the [redacted] Police Department.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [email protected]. I will note that the reply could have left out the personal information regarding my history with the business. My complaint was based on misleading information given on the website. It was not based on any situation which occurred as stated by the business. The personal issue that was brought up by the business is being handled through a seperate court case. The situation was also recorded via cell phone and the comments made by the business regarding the situation are false.
