I began working with this company a few months ago and they have been nothing but helpfulWhen I first contacted them a case manager by the name of Troy C assisted me through the processIt took them a few days to take me through a paperwork processIn the end they were able to get my husband and I approved and we are now current on the mortgage and paying half of what we were beforeI am always weary about companies like this but they are definitely one of the few legitimate modification services still available
Steve S with the Home Resolution Center was great! He walked me through every step and was very diligent in working on my behalf both with Bank of America and his staff I am grateful for the help everyone provided and am happy I get to stay in the home where I raised my family

They do bad business, have horrible customer service, and like to ignore your calls and emails when you've had enough of their lies and let them know you've realized that they scammed you! First and foremost, they grab your attention by sending you mail with a government logo on itIt's not until after you call and get assigned a case manager, that you realize they are a 3rd party company, and will CHARGE you fees to negotiate with your mortgage lenders on your behalf, which under govt guidelines is ILLEGALThese "fees" are not small, and there's no exact explanation as to how they determine how much you need to payThey wanted to charge me $1,in installments totalling $3,to negotiate with my lender to reduce my mortgage payment and modify my loanIn desperation I sent them the first installment, and then I spoke to my mortgage company who informed me that no communication was EVER started between them and Home Resolution Center, and that the kind of business they were doing was deceitful and wrong, and that only your mortgage company can APPROVE a home modificationI wised up after that and informed HRC that I no longer wanted to deal with them and that I demanded a refund of my $1,because they didn't do what they said they'd do, which was contact my lender, and MOST IMPORTANT, it is illegal to charge a fee for someone with a hardship to do a mortgage modificationStart of this process began in AugustI decided I didn't want to deal with them any longer in September, was told that I'd get a refund of my installment, and here it is December, and I'm still waitingI got a lawyer involved, they've ignored himThey never answer the phone, never return calls, and never give a straight answer about the next stepThey even lied to me and told me they were going out of business on 12/31, which I also discovered was a LIE In the beginning when they were trying to rob me, the communication lines were way OPEN, returned every call, email etcNow, nothingSTAY away from them! Protect yourselves!!!

Initially I was very skeptical about using this company, however I am very glad I did. My wife was diagnosed with Cancer last year and I was forced to miss work for 3 months resulting in a 7 month delinquency on our mortgage. Our Mortgage company would not accept my regular mortgage payment and I seriously believed that we would be losing our home! Once I contacted the home resolution center they helped me and carried me through the process. Not only was my delinquency removed but also my interest rate was reduced drastically resulting in a much lowered payment. I seriously don't know what I would have done without you guys. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you!!!

She explained the whole process to me step by step so that I was fully aware of what was going on each and every day. I couldn't do it without her and she was defending me and my case when we had a conference call with my lender. I know that if I tried doing this on my own I wouldn't have been able to accomplish it! She is always on top of things and makes sure I'm doing everything on time which is hard for me since I am a 63 year old it's very hard for me to use technology such as scanners and faxes and she guided me. I suffer from PTSD and other medical issues and that is why I wasn't able to keep up with my mortgage but with her help I got a modification and now paying lower payments. I couldn't thank Home Resolution enough they have brought happiness and ease back into my life and I thank Amy A the Angel!! I RATE THIS COMPANY 5 STARSS AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!!
