We were anticipating future hip/knee surgeries and didn't have a shower on the main floor of our home, and we didn't want to move. HS of MV converted our back-hall closet into a walk-in shower, and our 1/2 bath was transformed! *** made excellent recommendations of where to shop for tile, countertop, etc. making the project easy to co-ordinate. ***, who did the construction, was always professional, yet personable. He was precise in all his work and cleaned up everything at the end of the day. He was extremely helpful in making design suggestions/changes along the way.
We love our new full bath and highly recommend Home Solutions of Maumee Valley!

We had Home Solutions re-model our basement. We are very happy with the outcome. The work was excellent, and they went above and beyond the expectations of the project.
We recently moved into our home and wanted to finish our basement. We had 3 different contractors provide estimates. One was easily eliminated based on lack of professionalism. Home Solutions of Maumee Valley and the additional contractor were on par with regard to professionalism and communication. Where HSoMV stood out was their communication. They stopped by our house to take measurements and were great about understanding our desires for the basement without trying to up-sell us. The company and their subcontractors were great to work with, especially as the space started to shape up and we had some adjustments. When any questions or issues came up they were quick to respond. At the end of the project we did a final walk through to ensure everything was up to par. Overall we are extremely happy with our decision to go with HSoMV and would recommend them to anyone (and already have to coworkers). We'll definitely have them provide quotes on any future projects we do.

Home Solutions of Maumee Valley is an excellent company. They are honest and honorable, and they treat people decently. They also do beautiful work and are committed, as a team, to high-quality work. I had them do an extensive renovation, and I am very pleased. We lived through the remodel, so I saw them and their work all day every day. I feel very lucky to have selected Home Solutions as the company to do our reno.
This was our first time using Home Solutions and would definitely use them again.

Home Solutions of Maumee Valley did several projects at my house including finishing my basement and fixing an attic leak. They provided clear, timely estimates up front. The workers showed up promptly and consistently. Communication was clear on progress and items they needed clarified. The billing was clean and simple. The project was completed smoothly and I love the result. Excellent company - I will use them again for other projects
This is the fourth time I've contracted *** and his company Home Solutions of Maumee Valley. The work involved a bathroom renovation, garage side door replacement, painting the family room and replacing the track lighting with updated recess lighting fixtures and painting the front hallway foyer and staircase walls leading upstairs. All work was performed with attention to detail and on time. Very professional and knowledgeable crew. All questions by the crew were answered to my satisfaction with *** assistance. Very easy to work with and more importantly trustworthy, since I wasn't home most of the time due to work obligations. Final inspection with Troy the field supervisor took care of any final issues which were very minor. I have always been satisfied with the work *** and his team have done for me over the years and would not hesitate to refer them for any home improvement project!!

Where do I begin. I expected a new bathroom , new exterior safety doors, facia replaced on the peak of my home , and a few other things fixed . What I got was the best guys you could ever ask for . They did the best job on my home . I doubt that they could have done more for me if it was their own homes ! The care and attention they gave me and my home was top- notch . I would recommend this company to anyone. Just beyond my expectations ( which were high ) . I will use this company and their amazing crew again. Thanks
I had two bathrooms completed by this company and it took close to a year to get the window, now the room is falling apart.
The bathroom they put it down stairs was gutted back to the studs and redone. They removed the previous shower and walls and replaced a window. The window was put in and the craftsmanship isn't 100%, with in the last month the medicine cabinet which is put into the wall is falling out of the wall, they never came back to adjust the shower doors and now the one doesn't stay closed unless propped shut. The walls have some kind of brown residue coming out of them. At first I wiped it off the walls but, it keeps seeping out. The baseboards where there was glue are all ready yellowing, and there are spots on the ceiling where they left slightly unfinished.
I previously had a problem with the company not completing the window from the original task date. I played phone tag with the owner of the business for weeks and had to actually call the company with the alleged window to even see if it was ordered. Which it was not ordered at the time they had alleged. They initially didn't install the window because we were told it was too cold but they had the window in their possession and once it was nice they would get it in. Well it took months of hounding to get the window put in. It was a huge I convince and multiple days of waiting around for no one to show up. I can't even explain the frustration. After having them do two bathrooms I felt as though we were mistreated and left disappointed in the way we were taken care of. They were paid with checks for both projects.
I'm starting to be displeased with the downstairs bathroom as I feel like we're having problems with it in such a short amount of time.
I would of love for it to all be fixed but, with the way the window was handled I am just uncomfortable with having to deal with them again. It was a hassle and a headache and the owner was rude. Since they already had the money we no longer mattered.
Our company policy is to react immediately to all service calls. Our previous customers are the most important asset. We only need to be notified of a concern and our field supervisor is generally out the next day, if not the same day.
This is the first notification of her concerns, we certainly would of attended to her bathroom with a simple call to the office. Upon the receipt of the Revdex.com notification, we immediately called her and left message to set up a time that works for her to correct any concerns.
As far as the window, I agree we did not have our best performance. The individual responsible for ordering the window retired to care for her ailing father. Based on their excellent ordering history, I assumed it was ordered. When customer called, I investigated and found that it wasn't ordered and placed the order that day. (Please note the existing window was not removed yet) When the window did come in, the weather was extreme. Once weather allowed, the window was installed.
I have built my company by rapid response to all customer concerns, I only ask to be informed.
We strive for perfection, being humans, it is not always achieved. We regret this error.
The mistakes made by the company have been left done in worse shape than when they left and the time line was unacceptable.

At times I have been nasty with them because they have put the project off several times when I had already paid them it's ridiculous.. this company has taken advantage of my family and been unprofessional on the office end of things I will never use them for anything again and I will be sure to let people know how they treat their buisness
This is my 3rd letter to Revdex.com and the problem still isn't resolved. Home solutions first didn't install a window that they had supposedly ordered until 8 months after that fact and me calling a million time and arguing with the owner until he finally hung up on me. Not to mention they had to come out twice because the window was installed poorly. Second, the shower doors never stayed closed while we were in the shower. They were told about both. They attempted to fix the shower doors and made it so they couldn't open without force which actually caused a door to scratch the track and it looks bad now.Then the problem with the walls started. They were leaking brown goo. So they came out to look and said to me they weren't sure why it was leaking (they asked me several questions on home life to see if it was something I had done)and offered to paint the walls with kills and repaint. Well a few weeks went by and the goo started to reappear.. so, I took matters into my own hands and had another home improvement company come out and check. The conclusion to that is the fan they installed was too small for my bathroom and that is why the ceiling was starting to sag and the goo kept reappearing. So I reached out again to home solutions and they came out to fix it once again on August 22,2018. They left that day with the new fan hanging from the ceiling letting me know 1, that a rookie did my bathroom and that it was one of his first. 2. That they would be back to paint and finish up another day. Well my fiancé called the office September 10th and they didn't come out until that Friday they painted the ceiling with no texture so I have a giant patch that doesn't match the rest of the ceiling and I have paint that is half assed and you can see the old paint through it. I am tired of having them in my house. I have had to pack up my newborn twice to leave the house so they could be in there using chemicals. They have treated this project so poorly by putting it off and then half assing everything. I don't care that a rookie did it. This all could of been avoided by someone checking his work. Also, the owner has never once called my fiancé back or stopped out to see the s
At this point on it's been over a year and a half and I no longer can have them in and out of the house fixing their sloppy work. I feel I have given them plenty of opportunity to correct the problems and now I will have to pay someone else to come in and fix their mistakes. I want no contact from them as they have had several opportunities to make things right.
Flooring Installation: Since existing walls were removed and existing carpet had to be taken out, patching, sub-flooring and re-leveling had to be done so any of the original hardwood flooring could not be used. Selected Bull Barn laminated interlocking flooring from Lumber Liquidators and had the Home Solutions team install it. They did the whole house (minus the bathroom). The flooring was not uniform in design so I was very happy with the layout of the distressed design. The team worked quickly and efficiently and left everything in good shape. They cleaned up each night. It took 3 days but that wasn't a problem as I wasn't living in the house at the time.
For front of house renovation: Replaced existing vinyl siding with new vinyl siding. Removed 2 existing front windows and replaced with 1 double-hung window. Removed existing porch overhang (which was causing water buildup and leaked into the house) and constructed and installed new roofline and porch overhang. The crew arrived ready with materials and started right away. They cleaned up at the end of each day and were friendly and professional. They also knew what they were doing! The quality of the work was excellent and I will use them again for the rest of the house exterior siding.
