Home Sweet Home Cafe

Review: On 8-16-14(Sat.) our party of three went to this cafe for breakfast.As we were eating our food,the staff posted warning signs on the windows stating that there is a water quality problem and this restaurant would be closed until Mon.About 1 hr.after we left, all three of us developed food poisoning symptoms.My wife got so dehydrated we had to take her to an urgent care facility which had to replenish her fluids through an IV.I contacted the cafe by phone(on Mon.) and gave this information and my phone number for the manager to call us back.She did not.I called back on Thurs.and finally got to speak to the manager who offered no compensation because she said it could not be proven that we were sickened at her cafe.I also pointed out that she had one employee that was sweating heavily while working around the customers eating their food and she seemed unconcerned.I think that cafe should have closed as soon as they realized they had a potential water quality issue and far as I know,they just kept serving food.I would like to be reimbursed for the bill($29.97)the tip($5.03)our medical co-pay($10)and a public apology to all involved.Desired Settlement: Reimburse our bill($29.97)the tip($5.03)our medical co-pay($10)and issue a public apology to all involved.
