Review: [redacted], owner of Home Theatre Tech, was paid $2,133 for products to be delivered and installed on December 2, 2013. Since that date he has not responded to numerous phone calls and emails requesting that he get back to us and let us know when he will complete the delivery and installation of the products we purchased and paid for up front. We have only been able to reach him after having a family friend leave him a message requesting new services from a phone number he didn't recognize. Following that conversation at which time he committed to finish the job, and once again stopped responding to any communications, we have sent him a demand letter insisting on an immediate refund of our $2,133. We have since learned from other contractors, that he frequently abandons projects, doesn't return phone calls or messages, and after doing a background check on him, also found that there are over one hundred judgments against him. It appears as though we are not the only client whose project has been abandoned and money stolen.Desired Settlement: We want our $2,133 refunded immediately.
