Homebox Remodeling

I got a quote from Priscila at HomeBox remodeling to paint the walls and trim of my house. She showed up on Saturday, July 25th in a car with no license plates and two workers who spoke no English, only Spanish. I tried to stay out of the way and let them paint but when I went to check on the status of the project I saw paint dripping from the walls, places where there were other I got a quote from Priscilla at home box remodeling to paint the walls and trim of my house. I tried to stay out of the way and let them paint but when I went to check on the status of the project I saw paint dripping from the walls, places where I can see the old paint through the two layers of new paint and paint on my ceiling (which was not going to be painted) and many other quality issues. I brought these to Priscila‘s attention and she fixed them as I informed her. I have a normal size bedroom and purchase 2 gallons of paint and she told me I needed a third. I thought this was surprising since I only used 1 gallon the first time and I can see the old paint through in many places. Downstairs I could see a waterfall of paint dripping over an entire wall and realize they have painted around the refrigerator rather than moving it. At this point I knew something was wrong and decided they would not come back the next day. I texted to let her know I was on happy with the quality of the work and her employees had clearly never painted before. She offered to come back and fix it for free but based on what I had seen, I did not trust her at all. I paid her $800 upfront and $400 worth of paint and my house is a mess. She was refusing to give me money back and cash the check minutes after I paid her and before the work has started. I don’t believe this is a real business and her employees are certainly not legal.
