We acknowledge member's continued concerns regarding this installation, but can only respond that the installation was performed in compliance with ***' prescribed proceduresWe are not permitted to vary from those proceduresThe customers drain pipe was not sto allow proper flow for a new washer machine and a water filtration system The delivery guidelines provided to the Homeowner at the time of purchase state: GAS / ELECTRICAL / WATER PROCEDURES: If your home does not have the proper gas, electrical or water supply lines and shut off valves required in these guidelines, you can contact [redacted] Installation: 800-326-for installation prior to delivery (there is a separate charge for installation of supply lines or shut off valves)Accessories needed to connect appliances to home utilities must be purchased or our Delivery Team will be unable to connect the appliance We as a broker of the business and the Carrier partners cannot be responsible for inadequacies of customer’s existing plumbing

Our Claims Manager made contact with Mr [redacted] again todayWe have apologized for the problem he experienced and we have agreed to financial resolution of the matter to his satisfactionPayment is being processed for Mr [redacted] and will be sent next week to resolve the matter and allow repairs to be made as necessary

There was initially some confusion on the part of this customer as to who should be contacted regarding her concerns as the delivery was performed by separate company from the store where she made her purchaseOnce that was cleared up, we worked with the customer to obtain estimates for the repair of her floorRepairs are now underway and we expect they will be complete early next weekWe regret the damage that was done to the customer's home and have worked with her as quickly as possible to get the repairs done quickly to minimize any further inconvenience

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] All new houses are built standard with a common drain for the washing machine and water softener because water softener water may not be discharged in to the environment With a minor modification, removing the zip tie used by the Home Delivery Link installer, the washer has been working fine with no problems and causing no leaking The unit was not installed correctly and not installed in compliance with the current standard for installations of washing machines in homes with water softenersThe installer asked no questions, raised no concerns, and rejected assistance from the home owner/owner The home owner will be filing a lawsuit in Arizona, calling an expert to testify against HDI and [redacted] that is standard plumbing industry practice to install a common drain for water softeners and washing machines due to the limitations on discharge of softened water, and seeking to recover all legal fees and costs incurred in dealing with the improper installation and being continually misled and ignored by both [redacted] and HDI during the claim process [redacted] and HDI representatives have advised claimant that they have now destroyed all information relating to the installation, claim and calls made to resolve the matter during the course of the past monthsThe homeowner has maintained meticulous records of dates of telephone calls, names of representatives, and information conveyed
