SCAMMER
So I am searching for a home to buy. I come across HomeFinders.com and they have a property listed as a REO Foreclosure (for $500...yeah okay). Doing a little research I find the house is not even on the market.

Rob *** So called Customer Support Director of HomeFinder.com just called me...……. Not email, CALLED ME and began yelling in a loud and threatening way, to stop emailing him. I was so shocked, I could barely speak. When I tried to timidly speak, to ask what he was talking about, because I had only emailed one time, he got louder and more aggressive and he screamed "Shut up - just shut up". He was so rude and I was not allowed to speak as he continued on a titrate that lasted 5 minutes. I was hoping to be able to break in and have a rational conversation, but he was out of control. Seriously scary, until I finally had to hang up. It was so upsetting, I was shaking and filled with fear. He followed up with an email with a very condensed version of what he was yelling on the phone, and of course his correspondence appeared very professional. JOKE! I was shocked to see that his title was "Director of Customer Support". ARE YOU KIIDDING ME? Never in my life have I been spoken to in such a way. Loud, aggressive, insulting, rude. Never did he acknowledge or address my concerns and he couldn't even hear me over his yelling. The guy has a serious problem. This company has a D- rating with the Revdex.com and I'm pretty sure he's a big part of the problem although they are also a scam.
My reason for contacting them in the first place was to request my money back after be sucked into a reoccurring monthly subscription. This is a bad company that scams people out of money and then tries to scare them away from trying to recover their losses. Their website is designed to deceive and trick the user. My listing was probably never even on the website. No one could ever find it or see it, including me. Over 5 months, I never received a call about the property..... Which never bothered me, because I didn't think I was even on their listings. I think the rude phone call from their so called Customer Support Director, was designed to scare me. It did, but I'm not going away! I gave them one star, because you can't leave zero!

This company is listing our (Real Estate Company) vacancies without our permission. They have a disclaimer at the bottom of their page saying "we have partnered with them". It is a scam. They are running applicant background checks ($45 per person) and then the applicants are calling us and asking if they are approved. We have not partnered with ANYONE to do our background checks. This is a SCAM.

Can I leave -0 stars? So, I was selling my house and wanted as much advertising as possible. First, they double charged me for the first month. Second, I emailed immediately to cancel it, because I realized that it was a scam. I was told of course it's been canceled. We sold our house a month later and have been moving and settling in to our new place so we weren't on top of our bank account like usual. Fast forward four months and we realize that we've been getting billed from a company called ***. I called them an Yep it's on behalf of Homefinder. I was quickly and pleasantly told that I would be given s refund for the four months and they'd stop billing me. Fast forward to 5 days later. No refund. They refuse to send me an email for "said" refund. They don't do that. I contacted Homefinder and was told by the customer support manager Rob *** that they are in no way affiliated with the realty records company and that I'm contacting them in error. Rob then proceeds to tell me that because Homefinders name isnt on my bank statement that they arent responsible for any refund. So in short the two companies work together to scam the customer out of money and neither can be blamed because it's the other company's fault.

THE HOMEFINDER GROUP *** CA#7595 This is what was on my BK Statement where HF charged my debit card $39.00 on 4/30/2019, 5/30/2019 & 7/1/2019. Total $117.00. The address I gave was from another person's Complaint on Revdex.com site so I am not sure of the address I gave or phone number. The only way I found to contact them was through Applicant Enquiries: enquiries@***.org or to send a message on line.
I didn't contact or authorize HF to use my Debit Card, my pictures or house information. The pictures & videos they have on their site, where did they get them? They are the pictures from ***! HF needs to show I contacted them or authorized use of my information! Everything I read about them says SCAM!
My house was on *** w/pictures & a video @ no cost & on FSBO w/pictures & a different video @ 99.95 a yr.
I am a 77, single & the only one earning a living so I wouldn't have committed to a monthly charge of $39.00. You can see I have spent $99.95 w/FSBO for a yr & $0.00 to ***. PLEASE HELP!

After enrolling, I called right back within five minutes of receiving the information to cancel. When I called the number back, Jennifer told me that if I believe I’ve been scammed to call the one 800 number. They directed me to the customer service department which has bogus office hours.

I was selling my house FSBO and was searching online for rentals since we have a contract on ours and will need to rent while building our next house. I came across this site "HOMEFINDERS.COM with OUR HOUSE ON IT AS A RENT TO OWN!! I never even knew about this site, never registered for anything, not even for the rental info. I was in shock to see my house up as a rent to own. We are not doing such, we are selling period! No realtor involved and on any site but *** and *** for 3 weeks now. How they have the right to put my information out there is beyond me. It should be illegal to use my information to gain a client to register for money per month to see more about my house that is not even registered to be on their site. When I explained to the person she barely listened saying it was my Realtor....I already said I have no realtor involved ever, then why am I so upset she is trying to help me? Well, I am dealing with phone calls about our house for rent to own because of this and it's your fault! This is ridiculous and wrong! If it's someone else doing it it is still wrong and this should be checked into if it's not the companies doings.
