Review: My family and I recently took the Aegean Wonder trip, dates of travel were this year September *-**. We were very displeased with the trip and contacted someone at Homeric Tours for a refund.

The downfall of our trip started when we got on the [redacted]. The boat was in such poor condition, as were our cabins (room [redacted] and [redacted]). There were stains on our bedding, towels and floor. The shower pressure was poor and the drainage was clogged so our bathroom flooded the first day. Our room smelled of diesel and it was in very poor condition. We went to the reception desk to try to upgrade and speak to the manager and the attendants said he was not available at that time but they would make sure he contacted us as soon as possible. That never happened and were were on the boat for 7 days.

In [redacted], the tour guide ([redacted]) rushed us through [redacted] so fast, we barely got any time to appreciate the site. Then we spent over an hour at a rug shop which was not explained in the excursion description. We were very disappointed with that.

The island of Crete was a huge disappointment. We elected not to go on the excursion for this one and instead explored around the city. Much of the city was abandoned, the streets were overflowing with trash which smelled horrendous. It was not worth stopping here.

Then [redacted], which is supposed to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, and it was. However, the fact that we were only given 1 hour on the island is absolutely ridiculous. Why would we spend so much time at Crete and Patmos and other islands and then only be given 1 hour in Santorini? What a huge let down on the last day of our trip.

We would never recommend this trip to anyone, nor would we recommend Homeric Tours again. We will be passing the word around and making sure future customers know what they are getting into.Desired Settlement: Someone at Homeric Tours needs to acknowledge our trip experience did not meet expectations and we would like a refund.

We spoke with [redacted] on Sep [redacted], as soon as we received her complaint letter, and informed her that we would forward her email on to the cruise line for their review. The cruise line addressed all complaints and offered a $300 refund to [redacted] for the issues she encountered with her cabin. On October [redacted], I emailed [redacted] to inform her of the refund and also responded to some other points she brought up in her letter. [redacted] replied that same day to thank us for the follow up and express her appreciation for the refund. She gave us her mailing address in case we were going to refund her by check and I then informed her that same day that we already processed the $300 refund back to the credit card that we have on file. [redacted] was satisfied and the file was closed. We were completely unaware at the time that she also submitted a complaint with Revdex.com.
