After doing research and checking reviews, I spoke with John from Home Run Homes Inspection in August of 2016 to do an inspection on my home. After leaving a message, he quickly responded and set up an appointment with my wife and me for that weekend. We, unfortunately, were in a bit of a time crunch, so thankfully John made time and was able to meet according to our schedule. Additionally, John took the time to go over what his process was, what he was going to do and took the time to answer my initial questions.
On the date of the inspection, John was early to get to the home to do some exterior inspections and issue spotting. While the house was a recently built home, he still took extreme care and consideration on all aspects of the inspection. John was extremely thorough, thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire process. He explained some potential issues in the future we may have in the home and gave us recommendations that have, so far, turned out to be extremely beneficial.
While I have not had any other experience with inspectors, there is no question I will be using John in the future, should we buy another home. Our realtor, who was present during the inspection, was also extremely impressed and indicated she would be recommending John to potential home owners as well.
Overall, I would say John was not only proficient and knowledgeable, but patient and helpful.

Awesome company, loved the inspection!!

I used John for 2 condo inspections, and was extremely impressed. He not only has the knowledge but also teaches you each step along the way. With everything good/bad he found, he would explain to me in great detail about everything. He has every tool you can imagine to get in and see every detail. His main concern in my condo was safety. He gave me information about what he found along with ideas on how I can fix them. After the inspections were complete he gave me a full write up (pictures included) which went above and beyond what I thought it would look like. He still to this day (months after his services) sends me information regarding things he found and ways I can improve the items he found. John’s inspection was thorough and outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone!

When purchasing a home, the inspection can be a very stressful aspect. Not only did John do a very comprehensive and in depth inspection, he also gave me and my Husband lots of tips and ideas about being homeowners in general. John has taught us an immense amount of knowledge regarding homes and their upkeep. John is reliable, trustworthy and extremely diligent in his work. He is also a great person. Months after buying our home I had a concern on a Saturday. John called me and helped provide me with the right information and even offered to come take a look at it. I could not recommend his work enough. If you are buying a home, hire John for your inspection and you will be able to rest easy knowing you're in capable hands.
