on 12-** we were called by the nyc police dept to tow a vehicle that had been driven by a *** *** whom had fallen asleep and lost control and struck a parked car to be safeguarded pending removal by its rightful ownerthe vehicle was registered to a Barbara j, m*** @ *** *** *** ***
*** *** *** on 12-**-** *** *** called to inquire what would be needed to pick up the vehicle and was told that ms*** *** would need to come down personally with her title as proof of ownership and her drivers licas idand claim the car since he was not on the registrationhe then explained that ms *** *** was not the owner as the vehicle was leased and that she is not in possession of the title we explained to him that in that case we needed her to obtain an authorization letter from the leasing company authorizing us to release their property to her and also to provide her with a copy of the title to prove that they have the authority to give said releasethe common legal terminology is a hold harmless letter.he said he would relay the information to his mother *** *** A short time later *** *** called and we again explained to her what was needed to release the vehicle.on 12-** ms *** *** came down with an authorization letter from gm financial notarized and a copy of the title authorizing us to release their vehicle back to hershe then requested us to release the vehicle in writing and in her absence to a towing cowhich would come down on Saturday 12-**-and pay the bill and pick up the vehicleon Saturday 12-**-we released the vehicle to the towing othat she authorized us to release it to after payment of towing and storage charges at the established police department rates and provided the towing cowith a detailed bill for charges collectedplease note that Stephen m*** the complainant name does not appear on any document connected to this ve hicle is not the registrant nor is he the titled owner and does not even have a legal basis to be a complainant in this complaint against usin conclusion we released the vehicle once all the legal paper work was presented to us to the person of choice as per the LEGAL TITLED OWNER.

doesn't matter whether she paid for service (she said she would have gladly paid); she said the business still attended to and assessed her vehicle, and she wants detailed and accurate paperwork to show what was done and when.- she said she feels the business caused damage to her car by the way they hooked the cables to her battery; she said there were flickering lights to indicate this
