Review: After we arrived home from vacation (yesterday) we noticed the heat wasn't working. I called today to schedule someone to come and fix the problem. A lack of communication between the landlord and myself resulted in no one coming to fix the issue. We tried calling her and she would not answer. She actually turned her phone off to avoid our calls. We finally got ahold of her and she told us the best that she could do was offer a space heater to heat our house. We have a fireplace in the house but that too isn't working due to a maintenence issue which was never resolved from months ago. its 19 degrees outside and 50 degrees inside. I asked her what she would do in this situation if it was her family and she said it isn't her issue and she wouldn't tell us what to do.Desired Settlement: We found a [redacted] technition to fix the problem but she would not allow us to use him because he wasn't within the maintenence agreement.

Review: My husband and I rent a home from the Broker/Owner of Homes 2 Happiness Realty. She required that we pay a deposit, first months rent and last months rent in which we paid prior to moving in. We asked the realtor if she had a drop box that we could drop the money into and she does not. The owner has us paying the rent into her own personal bank account at [redacted]. After moving in, we noticed mold on the drywall in the sunken den area that leads to the back yard. I contacted the realtor concerning the mold issue and she told me to spray bleach on the area. I advised her that drywall is porous and the mold is really bad and she may want someone to come out to see if it needs to be removed since I have a daughter who is asthmatic. She stated she would send someone out to look at it. After several texts and phone calls, she sent a man who entered our home with a spray bleach bottle and sprayed the area with bleach. The man asked that I contact the realtor if the mold does not disappear within a week. A week later, I contacted the realtor and told her the mold never disappeared. She stated she would let the owner know and he will come out to look at the mold. The owner came to our home while my husband and I were at work and covered the molded area with pieces of baseboard molding. The mold is still there under the baseboard molding. The following week, we understood how the drywall was molded. We received a bad storm in our area overnight and upon waking up, we entered our den which was filled with water from the rain overnight. We sent pictures of the flooded den and she stated she would send [redacted] to look at the foundation. That has been three months ago. My husband and I have text the realtor several times asking if she has scheduled a date for [redacted] and she states that she will take care of it. We have had five more incidents of flooding since the incident and nothing has been done. My daughter has been using her inhaler and coughing more than usual in the past two months.Desired Settlement: I would like for the realtor to fix the foundational problem with the house, remove the mold, remove the dry rotted wood from the sunken den and kitchen and repair the master bathroom sink. The flooding has ruined our new furniture in the den. I would like an adjustment in rent to pay for the damaged furniture and rug in the den area or reimbursement for the cost of the furniture.
