This is not what transpired I did attempt to use the gift card when we checked in and was told there would be a charge of $which I was willing to pay Then the innkeeper further stated that it would be $per $and I decided not to pay an extra $(approximately $charge for nights) She NEVER stated that gift cards were not accepted By the way, the dates of the stay were November 10th-12th.After my return home, I again checked the B and Bcom website and found that Homestead House was indeed listed as accepting gift cards and proceeded to contact both B and Bcom and Homestead House This was on November 13th or 14th (Monday or Tuesday) Bed and Breakfast at that time told me the innkeeper was NOT permitted to charge the extra $and I would need to contact her I emailed her and to date have never received a response As to B and Bcom contacting me--they have never called me either, but I have talked with them on a couple occasions The phone number "Christal" listed in her email is NOT mine The other major issue in this discussion is that by the time those emails were written (November 16th and November 27th), the innkeeper had the "accepts gift cards" removed from the B and Bcom website Up to this point, I never have had an issue using gift cards and have always followed the procedure I attempted to use in this situation.*** ***

reservations for the weekend of November 9th and 10th, 2017.  Upon check in she tried to pay with Bed and Breakfast.com gift cards.  We informed her that we did not accept their gift cards for payment.  The reason being that they charge a 20% surcharge which we feel is way to high to absorb and we would have to pass that on to our customers, which we do not feel is fair.Our payment types are listed on our website which include most major credit cards, check and cashApparently, Bed and Breakfast.com had us listed as accepting the cards  on their website in error.  They have attempted to contact Ms. T[redacted] regarding their error but she has not returned their phone calls so they left her a message telling her of their error.  Attached please find their emails to me as documentation.  Please also note that we do not maintain their website. Ms. T[redacted] stayed at our B&B for the two nights booked, paid for them via a credit card.  She is now attempting to force us into taking a payment method that we do not accept and have no intention of taking. Her complaint is not with us but with Bed and Breakfast.com that made the error.  Sincerely, [redacted], Innkeeper, Homestead House Bed and Breakfast.
