I am sorry to hear that Mrs*** has had issues with her houseShe called us on April 27th to indicate she "found a spot on her ceiling after being away." The spot is below her skylight near the sliding doorWe sent a repairman to her house that week in which he told her the leak was due to ice
dammingThe ice forms due to heat loss and backed up around the skylight which, in turn, cause the leakThe Certainteed warranty does not cover ice dammingShe called May 4th to have her soffit inspectedSince her contract back in did not include soffit work, any inspection would incur a charge.May has been a rainy month and we have not had any other calls from Mrs*** to inform us of any roof leaks.The flashing Mrs*** mentioned was already inspected and resolved back in AprilAll her issues are a direct result of ice damming

[redacted] did in fact call us last week and we told her that someone would be out to look at the roof on Monday, Oct 19th.On Monday, Oct 19th one of our roofers went to the building and replaced 2 shingles. The matter was taken care of effectively and efficiently.We are sorry if there was any...

I  do not see any of the "details" Mrs. [redacted] speaks of in her response.We do not install the wire mesh. She will have to contact another contractor to do that.Her issue is that her roof leaked when she was away. It is not leaking now.The area that was leaking when she was not home is a direct result of ice damming which is not covered under warranty.We inspected the flashing in April and is installed properly.

Once again we are sorry that it is taking longer than we would like to make the final adjustments to Mr. [redacted] roof. We had every intention of doing it and have failed. We still plan on getting to his roof in the near future. I can only request that he be patient with us. This has been a hectic fall for us with a lot of customers needing their roof done. We have tried to prioritize the work set before us with our available workforce. I hope Mr. [redacted] can understand that our priority will always go to those that have leaking roofs or are about to have leak damage. We will get to his roof in the near future. We will call him about a week out to let him know when we plan to be there. However, if there is a schedule opening that allows us to get to his roof in short order, that call could be the day prior to arriving. I know this is not the answer he would like to hear so I can only ask that he work with us to get this done.

have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted] I do not accept this response because since July I have been waiting for the work to be done.   Now they wait till the snow and bad weather is coming in and three months later  to tell me that they are not doing any work in Buffalo.   How can I now attempt to find a company at such a late date.   I am going to also send this to the news stations and to the District Attorneys office because this is bad business.  they should never be allowed to practice in the city of Buffalo again.  Now with bad weather coming my roof may fall in from the snow.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.An appointment was set for us on Tuesday, October 13 for these repairs to be made.  As stated in my complaint, Tuscarora never showed up and never called.  They were given the opportunity to repair the roof and failed to do so.  A refund is the only acceptable outcome.As for the accusations of my being abusive - that word is the definition of how your secretary Barb treated me the first time I called to report a problem.  Everything else escalated from there.  Angry customers complain, Tuscarora, as do customers whose brand new roofs leak after three months.  And we do it online for the whole world to see.  Thanks for pasting all my comments in this Revdex.com complaint - now everyone here gets to see it as well, as they should.  Issue the refund.
