Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with the following notes. The new ledges that Brenda G[redacted] from Homestead said were on order were ordered last year and had been received and were in in back room according to Doug G[redacted] of Homestead pools. And the patio block that was broken was not under our filter as Brenda G[redacted] states. As far as the cost of he block, I feel that is irrelevant. It was broken by Doug G[redacted], so whether it cost 1 penny or 1 million dollars they should be held responsible for replacing it.
I am satisfied with the repairs, but I will not shop here again and I would never recommend this store.
Regards,

We have had so many problems with this "business" that I'm not sure where to begin. I have been hung up on and multiple calls have been un-returned. The owner never seems to be available when we call. Our pool took over 2 months to be installed and we recently found out that the filter (bought and installed with the pool) is way too small for the size of our pool. The installers (which were chosen for us by the company) spoke with such foul language that there were days I could not let my small children play outside. When the job was "finished" we were left with untrimmed liner, large gaps under the concrete decking, and an overall unfinished appearance to a brand new pool. If we could, we would go back in time and completely steer clear of having anything to do with this business.

I have owned my Homestead Pool for over 25 years and Sally and Gary has always taken good care of me and my pool.especially since I switched my pool to PristineBlue..

Thank You.

I had a pool installed in 2004 by a recommended installer by Homestead Pools. What a joke! From the first year it has been a complete fiasco. The liner has been falling out since the very first year. We had it fixed by the installer once and it came right back out. complaints went unanswered and eventually phone disconnected. We had [redacted] out yearly to deal with our issues, and were finally told "the liner is too small for the dug hole". The liner developed holes (which were repaired) and eventually has almost completely fallen in. We took very good care of the pool and spent a lot of money with yardwork. poolhouse and covered it daily to keep it clean. The chemicals were checked weekly. After all this we only were able to use the pool for 5 years! The liner is almost completely in the pool, we replaced a lot of boards on the fencing for warping and splitting, replaced nails with screws on other parts, gate has finally just rotted and fallen off after being fixed yearly. By the second year we had to cover the so called outdoor carpeting with our own carpets in order to walk safely around the pool and be able to stay upright! Your carpet was and is a slimey, slippery mess that was dangerous to simply walk on. We replaced the 'solar' cover by the third summer and had a propane gas heater installed at our expense to even warm the pool a little. When the "filter basket" fell apart, it was impossible to find a replacement. No way to contact homestead and item was so outdated it was laughable! Not even available anywhere online. I was mortified when I had someone out in 2008 from another pool company to see if they could help me and they laughed! How long had I had this outdated mess? 20 years? I truly believe I was sold a misrepresented item that was never expected to work. The money spent then and since was money put down a non ending hole in the ground. Homestead pools is a poor excuse for a business. They do not call back when called nor do they stand up to their products. People like me mistakenly trust vendors like them who sell with no conscience regarding their products. One person I dealt with at another pool vendor also had the same stories and we share our disaster stories. She luckily has help with hers because of where she is employed. She is the one who helped me tried to find a basket with no success. Itis wired together and fitted with bits and pieces. Not that it is needed as pool has been unusable since 2009, and only once that year as liner slipped down the whole side while in use. So now it sits!!!! A great place for frogs and bugs. I even drained it and had clean water put in in 2012 after tears were fixed near the steps in deep end and at separation to deep. I also paid to have filter worked on while liner was put back. It stayed in aweek or so and came out again because liner not deep enough in shallow end. They did not want to be involved in fixing such a major mess and declined the business! This is how others see your business. An independent pool contractor also declined to help last year. Too big a job and a bad install to start with. I could keep going but it is a bad business deal from the beginning. My council just may have to deal with this disaster as you don't seem to take it seriously.

You get what you pay for with this company, which we learned the hard way. It's a shame the way they do business.
