Great company to work with! Quality workmanship, articulated the work that was going to be done. The salesman wasn’t pushy and helped me pick the best options for my needs. Everything was explained and they made sure I was happy with their work. Well done.

I had Hometech replace the windows and the door of my home in 2010. this company had arrangements to pay the the windows monthly which I learned later with *** based out of Vancouver BC. *** The initial loan was over 7000.00 in 2010. this is now 2019 and I still owe 6004.00. I learned that out of my monthly payment that 80.00 ish dollars and 37.00 dollars go to administration and interest. the amount left over goes toward the loan, which would roughly be 25.00. Plus when the windows were put in , I then received a letter indicating that I now had a lean against my house. *** Hometech needs to be more transparent about the financial company they use. by the time I finish paying off the loan I will have paid close to 20.000 for the windows and door. *** I want to warn others to stay away from *** Plus when they replaced the door they left a gap on the side and under the door. this as well disrupted the cement stairs and there is a large crack that allows mice to get in. Home owners beware

Hi Debbie,

We can say with confidence that our sales staff would never intentionally mislead or misinform any customer for any reason. The "movable hypothec" is just to protect the lender and is not viewed negatively by any future lenders as a "Lien", it's just to ensure Snap Financial is paid should you sell the property.

Our operations manager tried both numbers on file to get a hold of you, one is not in service and the other was a wrong number when it was answered. We had no knowledge of any deficiencies. If you would like these rectified, please contact the office @ 780-488-1001 during working hours to schedule the service call and update your contact information.

I received a flyer in the mail from this organization and noticed they had advertised a 10 year warranty on their product. We purchased windows from this company within the warranty period and gave them a call about one of our windows that was foggy within the double pane glass. I was referred to the service manager and he advised me that that warranty did not apply to the window in question because it was on a door and the warranty period is only 5 years. The discrepancy on my window has been there for some time but had no way to prove it within the warranty period. The service manager looked up my file and advised me the cost of the window would be ~$545 and he would do the install for free. *** The invoice stated FOR: “Window and door replacement”. *** On May 28, 2019 I called again and left another voicemail asking for the status of my replacement. Please note that my phone number was left with each message left with the service manager. On the third attempt the service manager called me back about an hour later and left me a voice message stating that the window has been at their shop for a month and it is ready to be picked up by me. I quickly called back and discussed this with the service manager and he said that he did not agree to install it for free and it would cost ~ $186 to install. *** I called the organization the next day to speak to someone else and the office manager indicated that she would look into it and get back to me later in the day. At this time, the office manager updated all my contact information and spelling errors on name and address. I received to calls back later that afternoon from the organization and one of which was a message from the service manager. The message from the service manager was confrontational and condescending. I also received an email from the service manager to return his call. I called my credit company to see if I could get a refund from this company because we didn’t trust this service manager would do the install correctly nor did we want someone like this in our home. I responded via email the same day requesting a refund based on the terms of our agreement changed and they are not operating in good faith.

To Whom:

The customer ordered a replacement glass insert for his door March 28, 2019. He didn't express much concern regarding the fact it was not covered by warranty( he asked, I said no, and he ordered the replacement) paid in full by credit card over the phone. I believed this to be supply only parts and marked the file as such. I apologize but I don't know exactly when the glass arrived ( roughly 6 weeks later would be usual time)I called multiple times, leaving messages after it arrived and got no response.I believed this to be supply only and the account was in good standing( pre paid ) so I felt no urgency to keep trying. The part was here and would be here when he was ready.

When Joe did call I explained this to him and it was apparent we had a difference of opinion regarding install. Our standard service charge is 186.50+ gst and after a long conversation*** I agreed to install it free of charge as he was unwilling to accept anything less and I had two other lines holding for me.***

If he no longer wants this product, installed or not,it's fine but I absolutely disagree with his version.I agree to share responsibility for the miscommunication and/or mistaken expectations, absorb the cost of the glass and move ***

I agree with most of his response and accept the apology. If the service manager did leave a message, then his records were outdated because I didn’t receive a message. The service manager should have updated his records when we made arrangements to replace the window. My invoice had incorrect spelling of my name and address along with discontinued work and home phones numbers. I left several messages with correct contact phone number to get a status with no response. I later learned that my warranty includes door windows and windows for ten years which was well within the warranty period. I trusted the Service manager when he claimed my door window wasn’t. This situation has left me with no ability to follow up on any potential warranty follow up on my original home window replacement***

My floor and trim around front door they installed in 2011 is continually being destroyed by moisture. Have had them out 3 times and unwilling to admit it is the door installation. Keep blaming house when I NEVER had this problem before door installation. ***. My personal opinion is they are Not an A+ rating!

Very satisfied customer. We hired HomeTech doors and windows Edmonton to removed and replaced windows through out our rental house this past April 2018. They provided excellent customer service especially when an unforeseen situation happened. I was concerned but Darrell the Edmonton office Manager took care of this and provided excellent attention to my anxious concerns. This complex problem with the front bay window needed precise attention and great expertise to fix. Thanks to their experienced tech Valdmir who spent the extra three plus hours and brought this to completion. Great job Valdmir! Thanks.
