CUST PAID ON RO [redacted] CUSTOMER WAS TOWED IN WITH OUT ANY KEYS TO CAR, CUSTOMER ORDERED NEW KEY AND KEY FOB, KEY WAS CUT AND PROGRAMMED TO CARIN ORDER TO PROGRAM KEY AND KEY FOB TO CAR, REQUIRES A TECH-(GM SCANNER), TECH FOUND SHORT IN CAR CAUSING CIGARETTE LIGHT NOT TO WORK AND NO COMMUNICATION TO DCL CONNECTOR(REQUIRED TO PROGRAM) TECH FOUND BLOWN FUSE AND SHORT IN WIRE TO DCL AND CIGARETTE LIGHTER FUSE REPAIRED WIREPROGRAMMED KEY AND FOB TO CARCUSTOMER GAVE VERBAL AUTHORIZATION FOR THE EXTRA DIAGNOSTIC AND REPAIR OF THE WIRE AND FUSECUSTOMER PAID AND LEFT WITH VEHICLECUSTOMER A WEEK LATER CALLED BACK STATING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON, AND CIGARETTE LIGHTER NOT WORKING AGAIN, EXPLAINED TO CUSTOMER WE WOULD NEED FURTHER TIME TO DIAGNOSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT US TO LOOK AT CAR, SO A REFUND WAS GIVEN TO CUSTOMER IN THE AMOUNT OF $ON RO# [redacted] STATING HE WILL HAVE SOMEONE ELSE LOOK AT HIS CARMONTHS LATER CUSTOMER CONTACTED US STATED HE WAS ABLE TO GET A KEY FORM [redacted] AND WANTED TO KNOW WHY [redacted] CAN GIVE HIM A NEW KEY FOR HIS CAR AT A CHEAPER PRICEAFTER REFUND ONLY CHARGE TO CUSTOMER WAS $WHICH INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT KEY AND REMOTE, AND PROGRAMMING, IN WHICH CUSTOMER AGREED TO PRIOR TO THE VEHICLE BEING BROUGHT TO SHOP, AND ANY WORK PREFORMED

I am rejecting this response because:i have no issue with the work performed I had an issue when I went to get house keys and decided to get another key cut for my car off the original when the guy who cut the key checked to see if there was a chip in the car and stated there was no chip in the key and cut me a two dollar key which started and drive my car I then called the dealer and spoke to the general manager who said I had to speak to Ryan the customer service manager and he gave me an answer I don't know why a key without a chip would start the car I am disputing the fact that they charged me almost dollars for a key they claimed had a chip in it and here a key without a chip worked and started the car don't bypass the real issue with the check engine light and I had no keyI'm not disputing that but when you are overcharging for a key that claims my car needs a chip in the key and I got one that didn't that worked just as good and started the car is my issueI worked for *** *** and *** in *** *** and you could just cut a key by the VIN with my showing ownership and it would have been less then dollars That is the issue I have you're cheating people out of money

extended warranty that they purchased which, by the way covers powertrain only, has a $50$deductible. Had the customer not known about the noise before purchase or had we figured into the purchase fixing the noise I would certainly refund them for the cost to fix it. But we were clear about it and they knew about the noise and purchased the vehicle knowing if they hit the recirculate button it would get rid of the noise.

AFTER REFUND ONLY CHARGE TO CUSTOMER WAS $341.84 WHICH INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT KEY AND REMOTE, AND PROGRAMMING, IN WHICH CUSTOMER AGREED TO PRIOR TO THE VEHICLE BEING BROUGHT TO SHOP, AND ANY WORK PREFORMED.
