Hometown Family Values of Delaware

Review: We have a business that we were contacted by [redacted] and contracted by [redacted] (who later told me that [redacted] was no longer doing the business but taken over by [redacted]). to have advertising placed in magazine mailouts for our business. They/him own a magazine advertising business called Hometown Family Values of Delaware or aka Hometown Savings. This contract was started end of Oct 2014 and it is now Apr 1st 2015 and they have broken the contract many times by not providing services that they took our money for. We paid $500.00 to [redacted] / [redacted] of above named company to provide advertising services for several magazines to be mailed out over a period of several months and email blasts. And we never received this paid service. Instead [redacted] has avoided and ignore my calls and emails. I have requested several times, a full refund of the $500.00 paid to him by me. When he did respond it was evasive and elusive to when this would ever be done. When I was able to get him to respond he would state the project would be sent out again and each time, he lied then I would have trouble getting a hold of him again. His last response stated he didn't know when he would be able to do it and couldn't give me a date and he didn't have the money to do it. I reminded him that he was already paid by me. and I requested a full refund again due to his breach of contract. I feel that due to his evasive behavior that he never intended to provide any service but to just take our money. I feel that this is clearly theft and fraudulent behavior.Desired Settlement: I require a refund of $500.00 for breach of contract on his part by him not providing the services that he was paid to do. I should charge him for loss of my time dealing with him over these many months.
