Review: Placed an order for fuel oil delivery. Was quoted a price by the [redacted], [redacted], a price that he said would be the same the following morning. When delivered, the price was more.I called the office four times, only once reaching a young woman and left detailed messages the other times. I requested a credit for the difference in the amount between the quoted price and the actual charge. Never received a call back or a credit.Desired Settlement: Credit back against the credit card # provided.

On January **, 2014 [redacted] ran out of heating oil and she canned in 5 gallons of gasoline in error, she then canned in 5 gallons of diesel fuel but was afraid to start the burner because of the gasoline. She called a plumbing supply company that we buy from and they recommended us to help her out. My service partner went to the house bled the burner and made sure there was no problems with the gasoline. He then called me because [redacted] was interested in getting a heating oil delivery. With [redacted] standing next to him we went over the prices with her. If she filled her tank or put in 200 gallons she was told the price would be 3.599 per gallon, if she wanted less say 150 gallons she was told the price would be 3.699 per gallon and if she wanted a 100 gallons she was told it would be 3.799 per gallon. My service partner said to me she was happy with the prices because she was quoted a price of 3.899 per gallon from another fuel company and said she would call me later to schedule the delivery. [redacted] called later that day to set up a delivery asked again what the prices were. I went over the prices with her again and they were the same as she was quoted earlier that day with my service partner. She said she only wanted $500 worth of fuel. I told her she will fall in the 3.799 price bracket; she would get 128.4 gallons for a total of $499.98. She asked if she can pay $250 in cash and the rest on a credit card. I said no problem she gave me her credit card # and we booked the delivery. The next day we delivered the heating oil for her as scheduled. A couple of days later I received phone messages from [redacted] stating that she would like a credit back to her credit card the difference in the amount between the quoted price and the actual charge. In regard to her complaint that she was quoted one price and charged a different price the morning of the delivery is false. My service partner explained the pri ces with her as did I and she was quoted and charged the correct amount, 3.799 per gallon for a total of $499.98. The only thing I am at fault for is not returning her calls and I apologize to [redacted] for not calling her back. [redacted]

The account above is almost accurate except for the parts where there was a specific breakdown of different prices based on how much I purchased. When I followed-up with a phone call the next day to order the fuel, I confirmed the price, verbally, and [redacted] said yes. If he didn't, I would have gone back to my usual supplier. I am experienced enough with purchasing fuel for my home and understanding pricing. Simply put, I was quoted a price based on the amount of fuel being purchased and that was not honored.
